72 hours and no pop

Newbie grower, and first time trying to pop my seed. Dropped the little baby in a glass of water and covered her on darkness. 72 hours and still no leg. Give up and start another?

Take a sheet of paper towel, and a Ziploc bag. Dump the seed on the PT and fold in half. Make sure the PT is damp but not dripping wet. Fold once, and put in the bag. Put in a dark spot around 80°. Close the bag about halfway, as well.

Putting in water for that long may have drowned her. Soak for maybe 24 hours then put in a moist paper towel and baggie. should sprout a tap root in a day or 2 . Dont let the towel dryout and keep moist noy soaked. Yep let them germ and start another one or 2. Good Luck

Get some fox farm happy frog soil, and solo cups. Moisten the soil, and fill the solo cup. Plant the seed directly into the soil (not very deep), spray a little water on it to settle the seed, and stick a baggie over the top to make a little greenhouse. Keep it warm, and it should break ground in about 3 or 4 days. Stick it under your light on low power, and don’t water until dry. Works every time for me.

Thanks @Borderryan22. I went with this and opened her up this morning. No pop yet. How long should I wait until starting over?

I have all the ingredients and leaning towards doing this on the second seed if the first doesn’t pop. Thanks!!

I’d give it like 72 hours. I’ve actually taken tweezers and gently squeezed the seeds on the ends to split the seem.

Attempt 3 failed. Bought seeds from another source and 36 hours later seed popped with the paper towel/heating pad method. Thanks everyone!!
