Hey guys soni got this email to be a tester for a led grow light it uses samsung 281b diodes but for the price i think its good. I wanted to post this and see if anyone else wanted to do it and be able to get decent lights for a great price.
I jusy got a new light a month ago thats a marshydro TSW2000 300 to add with the smaller marshydro ts1000 150watt so im gonna have to gold off for a minute myself until i get enough room for another. Hopefully theyll still be running thjs kinda offer
I understand whats top teir and that these are last gen. I just wanted to pass on info incase someone wanted to do their own research and try out some lights at a decent price. They are posting all over on facebook
Never heard of this company, but that could mean a lot of things. Just a matter of who is willing to take a risk and see. If this floated to my inbox I would probably pass personally.
I would be very skeptical of lighting sourced directly from China at half the cost of what lights with LEDs genuinely capable of 2.75umol/J should actually cost.
I need a light and a big light for an outdoor grow and price was a point due to the backup nature of the light. Going to basically set up an 8x8 small barn with a window AC unit and fans and a light. Use the light on rainy days and use the barn as the 12 hour off to force flower before the zone 6 October weather.
A $284 1000 watt burner would
Be great but I see the tech specs state 240 volt range for USA. Not a problem for me but some folks may be uncomfortable around 240v
Yeah i saw that too… like i said this post was just to pass on info and let people make their own decisions. They have some independent testing on their site.
I suppose at the promo price it might be worth rolling the dice if your on an uber budget. I’d be very skeptical though. The misleading advertising and claims on their site and the fact that they don’t provide an actual spec sheet speaks volumes to me. You will probably get what you pay for. IMO it’s usually worth saving a little longer and buying a good light.
I have also found that the web trackers can be used to your advantage. If a web trackers keys on you buying led lights or pricing same they sell that data to light distributors. They also use algorithms to price point things.
When I wanted to double the light in my tent I scoped out Amazon and the Vivosun app. Finally the app sent me coupons and a flash sale and I got the light for $73 bucks shipped. 150 watt se with fan.
Have done this for years with auto parts. Every mail or internet parts company has an eBay store where you can buy opened box new stuff for deep discounts.
There is an incredible amount of fraudulent grow light sellers out there and the industry is extremely competitive. I just searched Amazon LEDs for the heck of it. I searched on the string “cannabis LED grow light.”
The entire 1st page of results are burples, which are all scams in terms of the wattage and capability cited by sellers. I didn’t see a legitimate light until the 2nd page of search results where an AC Infinity light is presented. I can count on one hand the number of legitimate grow lights even on the 2nd page of search results. Every light on the 3rd page is a burple.
Once again this post was just to put info out there and let aomeone make their own decision. JUST CAUSE ITS NOT NAME BRAND DOESNT MEAN ITS NOT GOOD! im not saying this is the best light as i have never used them but for someone on a tight budget it might work. Ive done the same thing on amazon and came across great lights on page 1 that are not name brand… ie szhlux lights i love them and use them and i know growdoc uses em also. Not name brand and not 1000 dollars but grows some killer smoke and was only 150 bucks for a 550 w. So yes post your concerns but let people make whats right for them and their budget and lets not turn them off just cause its not name brand
It’s not the name that’s the problem. It’s a company that I’ve never heard of(even though I spent years in the lighting industry) claiming they are the number one lighting manufacturer in America or claiming they are focused on advanced tech when they are using diodes that have been outdated since 2017. Then they claim their heat dissipation is 50% better than the competition but the number they do give is 20% worse than than my cheap lights running at an ambient temp of 35 degrees C with no airflow. Nothing against you @Mmanson1981. I think we all know your just trying to help the community out and share the love. It just bothers me when manufacturers piss on my boots and tell me it’s rain.
