hi I have a 3x3x6 tent that I have and I have ordered VIPARSPECTRA UL Certified 600W LED Grow Light im planning on growing 3-4 plants in there, but I’m not sure if this light is enough light
Please help‼️ Is this ok or do I need more watts for my tent size?
Its not enough.
The VIPARSPECTRA is actually only 240W +/- 3%. The diodes in it are old technology and you would be better off with HLG lighting. I would return it while you still can. As the light is, it can really only flower 1 plant. A 260 or a 320 V2 Rspec is probably a good light for a 3x3. I would go for 2 plants. You’ll struggle to flower 3 or 4 of them in a 3x3.
Thanks for the info… I’m only doing 3 gallon pots so I though 3-4 plants would be ok in a 3x3… far as the light goes yes I will cancel it do you have a link for the light suggested ?
We can’t post a link to it, but search on Horticulture Lighting Group and you will find them. Many of the growers here use them and have been very happy.

I just bought this HLG light for my 3x3 flowering tent, but I’m an overkill kind of guy.
50 watts per square foot is the rule of thumb, so 450 ideally; however, if you go for a HLG 320 instead of a 260 you’re really not going to be able to do much better. A 320 will put out plenty of light for a 3x3.
These lights are called “burples,” and none of them are any good. The advertising and the claims the manufacturers make is simply falsified.
FYI: they pay people to write good reviews. They offered me money to take down my bad review.
I second the HLG recommendation. I’m starting with the 260 RSpec in a 3x3x6. I’ll be flowering two plants with it. I’ll add some more if needed on the next grow. But from what I’ve been reading, I’ll be ok.

Many do. It’s your choice to make.
Sure, blurples will grow weed, but if you want to maximize yields and bud density then there are better options.
I use the T5 HO fluorescent in conjunction with the Leds because just Led lumens were low and it made a world of difference.
Definitely go with HLG, you won’t regret it.
This is a 2x2 grow with a HLG135 V2 Rspec.

I started with 2 vipars 600 in a 4x4 I grew 5 plants decent harvest I bought 2 HLG 260xl and grew 4 plants no contest, bigger and rock hard nugs gonna use the vipars in another tent to veg, 1 HLG 260 would cover 3x3
Think I’m gonna go with the spider farmer sf quantum board… jus now for my 3x3 should I go with the sf 2000 or get 2 sf1000
