Led and temps/leaf temps

Just looking for some input on everyone growing with LEDs.

What temps do you generally try to keep your grow room at?

Currently my room has gotten up to around 87 with leaf temperatures ranging from 82-84.

I’ve read higher temps can be ok with LED, but what is too high?

I’m in going into the second week of flower. The plants look happy.

I also have two fans circulations air, one blowing across the tops of the pots/stalk of the plants, the second blowing over the tops of the plants.

I shoot for mid70s to low 80s. Excursions to the low 60s or the high 80s shouldn’t present problems so long as the rest of the environment is good.

These temps are fine.

It’s not really an LED versus other types of lighting thing. Heat is heat, regardless of the source.

I run 2 8" tabletop fans across the canopy of my plants as well. Good airflow helps manage temp, RH, helps prevent mold, and ensures a supply of fresh CO2.

Into the low 90s is pushing it and should be managed down.

Ok good to know! I was worried both ambient and leaf temps in the midish 80’s would be detremental in flower!

My rh is hovering around 50-55.

80s is fine. Just be sure that you have plenty of airflow.

Ideally RH will be a little lower in flowering, but 50 - 55 is manageable.

Happy growing.

Based on some YouTube info by Spectrum king lights, mid 80(s) is a good place to be.

I try to maintain RH via this chart: VPD Chart
