Thanks in advance. Im old school hid/cmh grower. Im running leds this time round. I used to battle in summer the high temps. I’ve read and heard 85 degrees Fahrenheit is optimal. But even for flowering? Help please im in about month of flower
Yeah i keep mine about 85 i had lower temps but a couple others told me 85 is a good temp andnso far its been working out good cuz i switched to leds this go around as well i was always batteling temps before hand
I’ve never heard that temperature for buds. I always thought maybe the temperature like it is in the fall when they would be cold at night and warm in the daytime. There’s so many Fantastic Growers on this site though I’m sure somebody’s done some research on it. Any studies or experiments anybody?
85 is pushing it in my experience and works well in the early growth stages. I try and keep flowering temps 68-72 lights off and 76-80 lights on
Im the same as @OGIncognito , except during the last few weeks of flower, ill dump my temps with lights off into low 60s even pushing high 50s to try to push the colors…
I am more comfortable with lights on high temp at around 80 too. During flower humidity is also a major concern.
I am with @OGIncognito & @ChittyChittyBangin
@Andyman Have you tried a VPD chart? It’ll help a lot!
Helps control temp, humidity for optimal grow environment.
There’s a good one on pulsegrow:
As you can see from the highlights on the picture… There’s a links to everything you need for vpd…
Feel free to let us know if you have issues with it or need or desire help in any way
Hey thanks a million guys. That’s what I thought too. I keep my temperature no more than 82 with the lights on generally 78 and try to get them as cold as I can when the lights are off. With my setup when it’s hot outside daytime my lights are off and my AC is pumping cool air into my grow. Been getting my temperatures down to 64 during lights off. With fans and preset dehumidifier keeping the humidity below 50 during lights off. You guys hit it on the head. Great to know I’m doing things right. Yeehaw
Thanks everyone for your input. I always shot for lower temps during flower like someone pointed out, its cooler in fall. Just haven’t found anything on it with leds. Much appreciated

Lights?
Hieght?
Thanks.
Humidity, Temp, VPD chart.
I got the chart but thanks. Right now Im hitting between 40-50. I got 2x 240w ipower grow lights (won off ebay for $97 shipping included) and an enfun 240w light in a 4x2. I know its overkill but i don’t crank them to 100 lol. I just wanted the actual diodes above the entire floor space instead of just light spread

I had a plant i didn’t care for the structure it was growing into so set it in shower (has sky light in it) waiting until i could put it outside. Its either a California dream or banner photo, went to check on it today and its flowering. Im in eastern Tennessee area. It was only getting about 4-5hr direct sunlight until i moved it a couple weeks back, now its getting 8+ maybe more. Its looking fantastic besides it flowering. Any clues?
On why it’s flowering? My guess was it was under something like 18 hours light indoors and then moved outdoors where there was something like 12-14 hours light? If plant is mature this will make it flower.
this Grow Bro, and was sexually mature enough to start flowering. Anything around 13-14ish hours or less and they’ll think the fall is coming and start producing fruit
Yeah thats what mine did they were huge i moved them out early they started to flower now they are revegging lol

Preciate it guys. I thought i might be pushing it but thought id be safe with the 14 lessish hours
@dbrn32 since I got your ear, what do you think of the ipower lights? I got the 2x 240 dyi something or another ones off ebay. Couldn’t beat the price for em. $75 + 18ish for shipping. I can definitely see a difference in color temperature. Ipower, ky photone app say 4200. The enfun is 4900-5100k
I’m not familiar with them, sorry!
No biggie man. You know what you’re talking about with the lights. They claim samsung diodes and meanwell driver. I know first hand that they are better built than the mixjoy and enfun light i have
@OGIncognito i saw you comment on another topic about bending stems for scrogg so this is all you. The plant i moved outside, the stems seams hollow inside, kinda like a straw. Why is that do you think? My inside plants, the stems are more solid.
@BobbyDigital are you involved with the photone app?
