Leaf problem, think i left it to long between watering

@blackthumbbetty @raustin PH 6.57 growing medium terra canna pro soil

Looks like the very start of a magnesium deficiency, try adding some Epsom salts, about a teaspoon per gallon of water.

run off is PH 5.85 is that borderline? and thank you for the info, i have some calmag at home is that ok to use?

Definitely get your pH up into the 6.3-6.8 range.

Do i just use a higher PH water in to get it higher coming out?

Sorry for asking so close to Christmas @blackthumbbetty @raustin really appreciate your input on this

Have a happy and stoned Christmas from Australia

If your Ph is that low, then that’s your problem. Don’t add anything, just get your Ph up between 6.3 and 6.8 and she’ll be fine. Right now you’ve got nute lockout from improper Ph.

So do i just use a higher PH water going in? there is no added nutes in this soil.

Yep. Your last input was 6.57 & you got out 5.8? Try going in with 7.0-7.2 h20 at your next watering, but no higher than that.

These fine ladies have you covered @Hungrybud. Merry Christmas :christmas_tree::v:

Thanks so much for your help and thoughts @MattyBear @raustin @blackthumbbetty at this time of the year i know time is precious, it really is appreciated.
I reiterate and really wish you all a SAFE Christmas tell someone who you haven’t told for a while that you love them it will make it a great Christmas for them and for you, i feel for the ones who work for the government who will not get paid this time of the year its just not right!!

Thanks again.:kangaroo::koala:

Canna recommends you set ph to 5.8-6.2 in terra medium.

Oh, so his pH is spot on, then? Nevermind. :grinning:

Only reason I know is because I’ve looked at it. Will go double check.

@Hungrybud, I can’t link because we sell competing products. But there is decent amount of info in faq section of canna page.

Oh great Thanks heaps, still thank you to all who had input still learning heaps from all of you who are so responsive to give info, so it must be my slack watering schedule @blackthumbbetty @MattyBear @raustin
Thanks dbrn32 i never think of the obvious, getting through the day is hard enough.

Thanks again

No problem! It sounds like it’s a mixture of peat and tree mulch, and a lot of growers prefer to ph that closer to 6 anyway. On top of that, it also lists the pro as amended with healthy amount of lime. That will naturally buffer the ph of solution you apply.

I love the stuff, easy to work with and the growth is amazing even under the lights i have atm, so when the new light arrives it will be interesting to see the diff, and because there are no added nutes its great for seedlings also.

thanks mate.

Similar to promix, then? I think there are a lot of different ranges used in promix/peat based mixes by a lot of different users. Some do 5.8-6.2, some 6.0-6.4, some pH it like soil.

Similar yes, but I didn’t think promix had lime added.
