Hey guys. Ive tried researching images and ive come up with a few ideas but i cant narrow it down from there…some of the leaves on the bottom of the plant are turning a yellowish/brownish color, funneling up and clawing, then dying out. All the other leaves look fine except maybe some heat stress but ive maxed out my growing height. Any ideas what it could be? I have a fungus gnat problem but i always do. They wont go away. Even stopped growing for 1/2 a year and they came right back. Its not bad, but its annoying. Since the leaves are a new issue im assuming its not them. Maybe magnesium?
Also, a side question…should i bend the colas that are close to the light, or just let them be because its so late in the grow.
Week 5 flowering
Nutes: floraflex full tilt
Additives: pro-tekt silicon, AN bud candy, GH calimagic
Strains: ILGM la confidential/ak47/nyc diesel/white widow
Bad Leaves on the plant - these are pushed up against the side of the tent. The other leaves are typically the very bottom fan leaves. 2-4 on each plant
If the colas end up too close to the light, you can gently tie them down.
The leaves issue, is normal, it’s the bottom of the plant, and it doesn’t get as much light as it used to when the plant was shorter.
Being near the vent will cause wind burn, and then die off if it’s too much.
I didnt realize the nyc diesel finishes in 6-8 weeks…hoping i can push it and harvest all at the same time, but its clearly ahead of the others in maturation, with all the brown pistils.
Did you use manure in your soil or straw for mulch? Hay/straw is often sprayed with a herbicide just before harvest to kill all the broad leaf weeds and make it cure faster. These herbicides don’t breakdown even when passed through a horse or cow’s digestive tract and there halflife is 7-10 years. They are a god awful menace and should be outlawed.
