@JaneQP Youre welcome! I’ve seen you round these parts and I dig your advice and methods/input! Hopefully I have enough time left for these lil ladies to get bigger and produce!

Thanks for the kind words! I learned everything here and moved to living soil growing. Found some great growers and soaked up all their wisdom. What works for me may not work for someone else but my philosophy is to pass on the gifts I have been so freely given on this site. I still have much more to learn.

This is why I tagged ya! Diversity makes the world go round and we all can “figure it out” through collaboration! Don’t hesitate to drop your 2 cents :facepunch:t2:

That sounds like a good plan!
Just a tip, cardboard can be your best friend for maintaining weeds.
Kinda sounds like what I did with my veggie gardens. Dug holes for each plant, filled with soil, then laid cardboard and mulch over the top. That’s how I started my no-till garden! Haha

I’m honestly going to make a raised bed and utilize my landscape and resources for watering and kinda (hopefully) make it like a “Mother Nature sustained garden”…this includes strategic placement under certain tall trees for when it rains down to the angle of view from my porch  still on the fence about a raised bed but that’s a starting point in all this anyways so once I decide that it will ease the planning

Might even just til up a huge rectangle and build around and off of the straight forward plot type garden

Nice update! The girls look great.

Sounds like living soil may be something you should look into.
The Build a Soil website has a ton of great educational info. Compost tea videos and recipes
If you want to drive deep into research. Search YouTube for Dr Elaine Ingham, that gets pretty deep down down the rabbit hole.
Also take a looked at some of budbrothers threads
