Had 3 plants rolling along just fine. Week 6 of flower as of yesterday, and notice all three had beans in the buds. And not just a few.
Two of the three were bag seed, seeds. I don’t know what they are, but they came from a herm (I’m guessing) as the smoke was good but there were about 20 seeds in that Oz. That’s how I got started.
Now, I read that herms tend to produce herbs, so I ran that risk. But the other was a blackberry. All three were rolling along and getting plump. Now I’ve got 3 drying plants that may all be full of seeds.
But I’m not sure why. Was it from the hermed plants? I study them daily, paranoid, looking for disturbances. About a week ago, it was nicer outside so I opened up a window. Not in the same room as the plants, but two rooms away. The grow room has air exhausting out of it constantly, so could some pollen have seeped into that room and fertilized the plants? I had been doing some LST through out, but hadn’t done anything to really disturb the plants.
Anyone have any suggestions? Could one herm plant have just rubbed up against the others and caused it to seed?
Ooh I’m at a loss of words to on that one @Myfriendis410 to give you feedback I want it to be good of course but you left a window open you said in your paragraph I think pollen seemed in there and got on leaf and now you got a plant with seeds makes it a hermi hemosexualite

Myfriendis410 and op made the most reasonable explanation. The bag seeds were likely product of a plant that went hermaphrodite, when the nanners released pollen it caused the seeds to be present in bag of weed he took them from. OP planted the seeds, and they carried herm trait. They hermed as could be reasonably expected and now all of the plants in the space have been pollinated.
If you want to indefinitely grow seedy weed, then have at them lol. But almost sure chance all of these seeds will continue to pop nanners.
I think back to those wonderful days when every bag I purchased was full of whatever amount they could break off the side of a bale. Just the most compact, brown, full of flat seeds n sticks garbage there was. I’d just throw it all in a coffee grinder and mince it until it was unrecognizable and dip my pipe in it like I’m scooping out crystal light. Might have to do that until the next batch is ready If this is too far gone.
On a serious note, when a herm plant pollinates a female like this did with my Blackberry plant, are those seeds likely to have a herm tendency now?
I’ve been spoiled for so long smoking straight sensimillia that I was more than a little devastated to think I’d have to deal with a SEED (there’s a lot of seeds), but I digress. What’s there is still frosty. Butter will be made, and I might just revive the coffee grinder. It’s not like I’m going anywhere.
