Ok, here we go for grow 26. I will have 2 autos in 5 gallon pots. And 8 photos in 1 gallon pots.
The line up will be. Photos:
Rainbow Road
L.A. Amnesia
Money Bush
BadAzz Cookies OG
Sour Diesel
Durban Poison
Harlequin
Cream & Cheese CBD
Autos:
Night Owl pellets
Strawberry Pie
All these are 1 week old tomorrow. Except the Night Owl. It will be 3 days old. These were suffering from to high of humidity in the grow box. To many in there. This was a couple days old. One of the photos never cracked. So I replaced it with the C&C
I put every one in final pots tonight. Crossing my finger they do ok. Day temps are only 66 in the grow room right now. Lows have been around 52. I run ducting in the room in the mornings to get a little heat in the room to start the day. Come on summer
I was right on the border of killing these. I think at least. I checked the weight of a couple and never fed them. They were all super dry. But not looking to bad. The rainbow road looks the worst. The leaves were turning brown. It is in the front. Very right. One gallon pot. Since it is a photo. I think there is a good chance it will pick up. I at least have time. Un like the autos. They have to be right from the start. They are in the black pots
Well, I guess that is it for now. I am going to mainly focus on this forum this grow. I plan on lot’s of mainlines. At least for the photos. So I guess in a few weeks. We may be able to get things rolling. @kaptain3d@Dman1969@dbrn32@Myfriendis410@MattyBear@Covertgrower@Blackmoon@Big123 I will add more soon. I forget who I may know over here still @AfgVet
@dbrn32 Could you move this to the right place please. I don’t know how it made it into no mans land Wasn’t me
Thanks every one. I still can’t find this thread with out the book mark. I will re learn though. There are to many options for where to place things here. I should see how this grow goes with in a week. Temp was 50 in here this morning. It is supposed to warm up a touch in a few days. Till then. Day temps will be in the low to mid 60s. So far. Every thing in this grow just feels right again. I don’t feel crowded in there any more. Once it warms up. I may add another for the closet. My Red Poison autos only take 2 moths to grow. Start to harvest They would be great ones for some one that will run out before a grow is finished

Thanks @kaptain3d
I dropped 2 more seeds today. The Rainbow road is not looking so good, as well as the BadAzz Cookies. I will et these 2 keep going and see if maybe they find their way. I will have a back up either way. The cookie actually looks a little worse this morning. All the others are looking good
Thanks @Dman1969 I have a odd question for you guys. DO you worry about the temps when you calibrate your ph meter. I never thought about it before. I am having to use a ton of ph down to get to a 5.8 level. I am thinking maybe when I have calibrated before. It was a lot warmer in the grow room. Using a ph 4 or 7 fluid. Both the Apera and the newer cheap meter I got as a replacement. Thinking the apera was bad. Will show almost the same when testing. About 3 points higher than the solution. I am now not sure if either are right since I tried calibrating both today. Temp in the grow room is about 67. I have the solutions and distilled water out in the sun right now warming up. So what are your thoughts. I have another Apera meter in my amazon cart in case.
Thanks
I know you asked @Dman1969 to weigh in but I just wanted to throw something out from my 12 years working at a metals testing lab as a chemical technician. The gold standard pH meters have automatic temperature compensation which is needed when you need very precise pH measurements. But temp doesn’t affect pH to a significant degree for growing purposes. Take a look at this chart:
From 41F to 122F 7.0 buffer solution goes from 7.09 to 6.96. To see that difference you’d need a very expensive, more than likely, benchtop lab grade pH meter. Unless you’re measuring pH in a crazy extreme environment I’d focus on the quality of your buffer solutions/powders and water quality (is the distilled/R/O water really what is supposed to be?). Source cited but it’s in line with other published docs: Does Temperature Affect pH? | Atlas Scientific
Happy growing and good luck!
One thing is your calibration solution out of date? They expire after about one year. I love Apera and I’ve purchased 3. The current one does everything ph ec and ppm 500 and ppm 700 scale. It cost 100 bucks and it’s worth its weight in gold.
Thanks @Cannanaut I was asking any one that may have had an idea. I see the little difference in the chart. But nothing close to mine. I am getting about a 2.0 or more difference. I tried mixing some solution using the packets. I normally use the bottles. I have a back up of one of the cheap meters. I accidentally ordered 2 when my area went out. Or I thought it did. So basically. When I want a 7.0 with the solution. I am seeing 9 or higher. @d the packets are only a few months old. Or I got the meter then. I will look at the dates on it. For my solution. I see it expired 3/25
My plants are looking ok. I try to ph at about 5.9. I may suck it up and order a new good meter.
I was wondering if my ph down was getting weaker since I have had it for a bit. There are no expiration dates on any of my additives or stuff like the ph up or down. I looked when I bought it. The ph down was back in 2018 I guess that could explain why I am using a lot more of it now. I got it by the gallons. I will order new bottles of the up and down now. I have went through 2 of the area meter in the last 8 years. A new one is being ordered now. I have had good luck with them. I don’t use a tds meter since switching to jacks.
Thanks for the help
