It’s Mom’s basement now!

@Watt-Sun , that is exactly what I have in mind. The basement corner room. Do you/have you posted pics of your setup? If you have a journal could you tag me in please?
My basement is already hvac climate controlled so I’m hoping that’ll be a good thing humidity wise.
That’s the reason I’m looking at a corner buildout vs tents.

Might wanna get the ac off if possible and try and get the temps under 85 is ok. The ac unit throws off alot of humidity. If i run 1 portable or window air in the house the room jumps 30% rh fast even with the dehumid on. If i dont run ac it stay great in here for temps are a touch higher than im used to.but still tollerable.i guess. It stays under 83 at its hottest

I wish it were that easy but due to my marshydro lights and the dehumidifier that vents into my tent without my ac unit temls easily go into the 90s

Is it possible to extend wires and put ddriver on outside of tent. Is it exhausting into same room as it gets intake from

I’m sure it would be if I were to take the time to try and adjust everything but my power bill stays at a reasonable amount (bout 150-180 a month) so I’m not worried about changing anything but I do appreciate the help. My setup is janky but im limited on height and to a certain side of my basement as it floods anytime it rains because the foundation has cracks. I’ve grown used to it by now. Winter definitely works in my favor better lol

If your asking for opinions, 5 year warranty is always better then 400.00 off someone’s used light. I bought a refurbished Alexa when they got popular. She connects to the net great and responds well, after two weeks her speaker and Bluetooth antena started acting up. To the point that she sounds like an old record player, clicks and pops and white noise. I saved like 80 dollars on her, but she only lasted two weeks before she was, irritatingly, a high tech, A.I. paperweight.

Either way its a beautiful light lol. Whats the warranty like on the re f urb one. If its 4 years and 400 off id say good deal maybe even 3 years but if 1 or 2 years and only 4 bills off not such a good deal.

Ya, pretty sure the refurbish warranty is only 1 year. That’s why I’m torn, otherwise I’d order it now

They’re a pretty good company in terms of customer service. I wouldn’t have reservations if it was me.

I didn’t realize that the warranty is 5 years on new. I figured 1 year was standard

A one year warranty on refurbished seems like a good one

The diablo is a 5yr, the little ones I bought have a 3yr warranty, but I think their policy is all refurbished is 1 year warranty, at least the ones I’ve looked at. Agreed tho, great company, everyone raves about their customer service, if it was IKEA I’d never buy refurbished but HLG refurb i wouldn’t be concerned about

Yep, I’ve been snooping through your threads. Changes to the room are impressive.
And also changes to the lighting. Looks like you’ve got a good handle on everything too!
Thanks for letting me invite myself!

Good morning from the grow tent! Already have roots coming out the bottom of everything I transplanted just 5 days ago. Haven’t even watered the 2qt containers since the transplant, still damp enough, and it’s looking like they already want an upgrade!
