Issue with seedlings stretching and drying up

From a fellow grower: We get the the happy frog soil and we use full spectrum lighting. The soil is new and we currently have vegetables growing in the same soil we use for these guys

Overwatering is by far the most common cause of seedling problems. Seedlings only need a couple ml of water a day and they hate wet soil.

As said above. At that age they do not have any roots to “drink” water. Water is taken up from the air. A few drops of water directly on soil at best. Cover seedling with “dome” mist inside of dome untipp2nd set of leaves show or are touching sides of dome, then remove dome and you can water at this point foward.

As far as the stretching goes what light and at what height. May need to lower light.

I’d guess overwatering. Let them dry out before giving them a little bit of water. Here’s a tip that might help. I weighed my solo cup full of dry soil and it weighed 129 grams, so if in doubt I can weigh it and if it is around 150/160 grams I know it’s getting pretty dry.

Jeez i hate that leaf curl when you first take the domes off. Freaks me out every time.
