All depends on the phone, the new phones are coming out with better sensors. Does the new phone still need a diffuser @Hellraiser?
Keep. Me updated and me and Bobby can update the DLI thread as needed. I already need to update the fact the sunlight version may not be free anymore to some users.

Yes it needs a diffuser, using 22# paper (what they recommend) it is pretty close to the Apogee on the full spec LED setting. I will do another test soon and also try the sunlight setting to see which is more accurate.

So does the diffuser just spread the light out ? Is it supposed to lower my number ? I havenā€™t been using one so Iā€™m wondering what kind of difference it will make. When I check it had 60 at top and around 34 at bottom but not the very bottom.

Yes, thatā€™s the definition of a diffuser.

Only iPhones require one, not Androids.

Oh i got the whole PPF , PPFD and DLI thing I just didnt know to use a diffuser for an iPhone. Iā€™m android anyway.
