Is three of these sufficient for 2 plants?

That’s how I feel. Plus I’m on a 20/4 light cycle

I’m getting 60k lux from one bulb on 2 separate apps. Not sure why they think it wont be enough as my light is closer than 22" as described on the manufacturers box and I’m doing 20/4 cycle not 18/6 or 12/12 like a photoperiod. Im pretty sure people are just underestimating these GE lights.

The GE LED Experiment! I think that in the end you will still get delicious bud, new friends, and great experience! That’s really the important things anyways isn’t it?!

So, from my experience watching Disney movies hi with my kids (me hi, not them) all I can say is…

Let it Grow,
Let it Grow,
Light up the bong and let the good times roll!

Sry, been puffin in a new cartridge I got last night. First hi in a while, flower isn’t doing much anymore and RSO only helps with the pain.

Thanks for the motivation !! I’m legit not sure why others think it wont will be enough. I’m getting 94k
LUX if I put all 3 on one plant

I don’t know if it will or not, but I wish you the best of luck with them and I hope they do work great for your plants. The only real way to see exactly how well they will actually do is to use them!

None of us would be here using HGL or LED or whatever lighting they have if someone hadn’t experimented and tried to grow a plant with one, every grow we do is essentially an experiment with varying results each run, and for me that’s part of the fun. Here in a few months a lot of us will know how they do and be able to spend that knowledge to others thanks to your grow! So even if they fail to produce a ton of sticky dense buds, you are still gaining a ton of experience, knowledge, and are contributing to the general knowledge and wisdom that is shared here. Props man!

You asked for opinions, you got opinions. Not sure what else you want. You seem to have yourself convinced enough to be a cheerleader for that bulb so why even ask?
Personally, I started with 3 plants under 200w UFO style light. The plants did well, grew nicely and produced pretty buds. However the buds were “airy” with no real substance or weight.
Maybe you will do better.
I sincerely hope so.

I’m only saying that bc they say I need about 60k lux and I cN get up to 90k

Can you explain how 90k isn’t enough if I only need 60k ? Not trying to be rude jw bc sounds like it’s enough.

don’t use lux. measure PPFD at canopy using the Photone app. that will be more accurate. there are threads where this app is compared to expensive light meters. use photone app

Alright I couldn’t find it earlier but I did now.

Is 900+ not enough my lux reading 90k and my PPFD is 918. So what is the issue ? My canopy is even af

Well said @The_Cannabowlist .

900 PPFD should certainly be enough to flower a plant.

Happy skating and happy growing!

Nope, I am far from an expert. I only speak from firsthand knowledge. There is nothing I can offer but that.
As @Sincitytoker said earlier

Yeah im new to this also I was jw peoples opinions and I had no idea how to get a reading for cheap

Use Photone but swap it to the DLI setting and adjust it to your light cycle. Measure from the canopy of your plants. If the bulbs you’ve got hit 35-50 DLI on an average around the canopy, then there’s no real logical reason the bulbs you’ve got won’t produce. Bud quality may not be the best but I’d bet it will still do the trick.

I am team HLG - seconded with team KingBrite (because I’m a huge fan of a mean budget light) - but am new enough to not be closed off to anything but the goofy 5w octopus wand light that Amazon touts as a “led grow light.”

That’s all I’m really looking for is a first harvest tbh. I had to move last time and couldn’t take them with me.
