Is this the wrong light to use?

I bought this full spectrum light to use, and I am thinking I made a mistake. My plant started not doing to well right after I started using the light. The seedling was about 12” away.

UFO Led Grow Light, Growstar 150W Full Spectrum Plant Light with High Par Value Cr… https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07312WKX2/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_c_api_i_xJ72EbRK0TVAY

It’s probably okay for a seedling, but it cannot give the plant the energy it needs beyond that. Lights (burples) from Amazon are, in general, a rip-off.

Flxer summed it up…that’s actually only 62w. Amazon letting the manufacturers false advertise… shame

My budget light is a mars hydro ts 600. Got it from amazon for $80. I’m growing 2 autos In flower now and seems to be good But it does get hot. Maybe others knows of a better budget light

How many plants to you plan to run at the same time?

Just one or two plants. I just dropped a new seed in the soil today because the writing was on the wall with the first.

The HLG 260 is about $349, not super cheap but really not bad. It is more than enough for 2 plants and will provide some of the best light you can buy. Not sure if the 135 w would be sufficient for 2 plants or not?

This light is perfect for one plant and it is one of the best out there. I, as well as many other growers here, use HLG products. It is more expensive, but lighting is one of the most important factors for a cannabis grow.

try using google search for something like this “cheapest led with Samsung LM301B diodes” look at power used, watts, not the numbers used to name the fixture. For example one of syder farmers LED is SF-1000 this is a 100 watt / power light. Their SF-2000 is 200 watts. They just add a digit. Not knowing your space, to grow 2 plants you are probaly looking at 200 watts +
