Is this plant a hermie?

I’m guessing, yes.

It is a full on male rather than a hermie.

Was this plant from feminized seed?

Yeah. It was a clone from a friend so I assumed herm

We’ve had a ton of rain over the past 3 weeks so I’ve had to out the plants on the back porch. I’m afraid they’re getting too much ambient light at night. Would that cause it @MidwestGuy ?

The plant was a clone from a friend and I’m certain it was a female. I have another from him just like this with. I signs (yet).

It’s possible, but outdoor plants get all kinds of light from the moon, streetlights, etc… I haven’t researched it a whole lot. I think @Myfriendis410 has posted on this before.

Either way I bagged it and dropped it. Thanks for confirming, first I’ve seen.

@MidwestGuy i just confirmed absolutely was a feminized seed my dude grew and cloned, from a plant he is smoking right now.

This was grown along with 16 other plants all female. Got two of these Nori Cake Clones from him, this one male and the other showing no signs of male as of today. The plant in the red pot is the other clone from the same plant (picture is a week or two old). I checked it this morning and see no signs of male on that one.

All I can think is the ambient light from the house spilling onto the back porch at night causing stress. I need to rethink the location m… I only put them on the porch when it’s going to storm, which it has been doing a lot over the last 3 weeks.

That’s a very sad story :sob:

Most of my research says that cannabis is quite sensitive to light pollution. I also had a lot of issue with hermies in my grow room until I fixed several minor light leaks. It’s true that cannabis handles moonlight, but that really isn’t much. The info I found suggest that is pretty much the most it will handle without some complications. That being said, it seems unlikely (but not impossible) that it was caused by environmental conditions if you have two clones sharing an environment and only one is having issues. You could look around the hermie after dark to see if there is a light shining on that one in particular.
