Is this nutrient lockout or overwatering

So I water ever 4-5 days and I fed them 2-3 weeks ago. I’m in a 2x4 with humidifier and small fan(not a clip on) one flap is open and light is 2-2.5 feet away at 90 percent, it’s a ac infinity iongrid t24

What medium are they in, what’s the input PH and have you checked the run off PH and PPMs? When you are watering or feeding and either of these run out the bottom (run off) make sure to discard that and not let the plant sit in this wicking that back into the plant. Leaf tips clawing down resemble some toxicity. The run off PH and PPMs info will be a good place to start :love_you_gesture:

Ok so I water in at 6.2-6.3. And I have not checked the ppm. I need to get a ppm meter asap. Thanks for the advice @OGIncognito

Looks like soil, what brand? Most amended mediums will feed the plant for approximately 4-6 weeks with PH water only. For soil the optimum PH would be 6.5, the range of 6.3-6.8. A drench to drought routine works well for soil grows when the plant is old enough to do so…this plant is old enough :love_you_gesture:

yeah sorry it is soil and its true earth by botanicare. i topped it with oyster shell, dolomite lime and rock dust. this may be the problem since everything was fine before

how would you recommend fixing this

I researched this medium and it’s amended with organic nutrients so nothing should be added for several weeks. What’s your grow plan as in organic or going with synthetic fertilizer? This will determine your watering or feeding routine :love_you_gesture:

Organics

Tagging in a Growmie that grows organic. Unlike mediums using synthetic fertilizer the run off I mentioned previously is not recommended for organic grows just maintaining a damp consistency to keep the microbial colonies alive versus the the drench to drought routine that would flush those on the drench and kill them on the drought cycle @ChittyChittyBangin can offer some pointers :love_you_gesture:

Thanks for the tag @OGIncognito .

So i see a few things that could possibly be going on here.

  1. PH your water going in at 6.5, possibly a ph issue with the clawing.

  2. What size pot are you in ? A 5 gal pot should last 30 to 45 days without needing to feed. Since you added the dolomite lime you might see an abundance of calcium. That will try to lockout other nutes from reaching the plant. Excess nitrogen will also cause clawing.

  3. Watering schedule. Water slowly. Its takes at least 30 min to water one of my 5 gal containers. Ypu want to water slowly until you see juat a tiny bit of runoff from the bottom. Once your container is fully watered, pick up the pot and notice the weight. Now, wait until your leaves start to droop and pick up your pot again. Notice how light it is? You want to keep a happy medium. You dont want to oversaturate, but you dont want to completely dry out either. Once every week or 2, add a tablespoon of unsulphured blackstrap molasses to your water. This will feed the microbes in your soil and keep them healthy.

What to do now?

I would transplant into a larger container and monitor.

Thanks. So i do use recharge and fish shit in my water for the microbes And I will ph at 6.5 next time. See I was thinking about getting it into a bigger pot but I wanted to use my 5 gallon for flower but because I haven’t done any training or cut any clones I wanted to veg longer. If I flush plain water at 6.5 ph will I able to veg longer without switching to a new pot? @ChittyChittyBangin

You can veg as long as youd like on a 18/6 schedule. Ive vegged plants for 6 months before. You will want to transplant a few weeks before you flip to flower so the plant can adjust to its new home.

So do you think it’ll revive itself if I just let it be ?

I would just water in at 6.5ph for now. With organics it could take up to 2 weeks to see improvement. Just watch your new growth.
