Is this healthy? Newb

So I just started growing and I’ve got a 30 day old GG4 autoflower that I have topped and trimmed. Idk if I’m being over bearing and making this too hard or what but I feel as if I’ve stunted the growth and need to know so can someone please look at these and tell me if it looks okay…

Looks good, cutting the seedlings shocks with slower growth, for a period of time.
Soil looks dry, I overwater, so IDK.

I second that. Looking good. Nice even green and no burnt tips or clawed leaf tips.

If your light is very close to the plant you can try raising it some. Plants tend to stretch for the light if it’s a tad high. Or counter intuitively dial it down a tad. Just long enough to stretch out that internode length some and get a little height before flower. Then turn it back up or by then the plant has grown up to meet it. Hope that makes sense.

Does look pretty dry. Other than that it looks fine. Possibly a bit behind. Is it getting enough light? Also shouldn’t be trimming or defoliating yet. Topping yes but not trimming

I agree with. @noddykitty1 you need to raise ur light up and what nutrients are you using are you eoing organics or bottled nutrients

I also agree with them☝️raise the light a few inches. This will help the plant stretch and space out the nodes a little better to get more airflow and light Penetration.

Looks good

Wow thank y’all for the quick replies! I’m using fox farm and the soil is actually some crappy soil I got before I purchased happy frog. I’ve kept the pH at 6-7, 78f and 55% RH

Also the light distance is 30

Like the others have said. Welcome to the community.

Looks good! 30” might be a little higher than you want for the whole grow. If you don’t have one, you’ll want to get a light meter or the photone app to make sure you’re getting the light intensity and daily amount right. Tons of issues can be avoided. Everything is better with balanced light
