Is this because of lockout?

Havent run into lockout before. Been using the foxfarm trio. I’m feeding foxfarm tiger bloom right now at 4 teaspoons per gallon of water… This is cheese from farmers lab, today marks the 6th week of flower (flipped August 13). I just fed and didnt help so im assuming its lockout. Sorry I’m waiting on new ph and tds/ec meters so i have no measurements at this time. I was hoping someone could just help me eyeball the problem. Thanks guys!

Could be because you’re not feeding the complete recommended package. Did you do flushing as recommended by schedule?

Oh what a long day. Thanks for the quick response, even though I didnt get to read it right away . Whatcha mean the complete recommended package? And no I didnt flush, didn’t have this problem before… Then again this is just my 4th indoor grow… I wanted to see if anyone thought it was lockout as well before i flushed because its gonna be a pain in behind to do it and wanted to be somewhat sure it was necessary… My grow area is just so cramped right now and I didn’t put reservoirs under my plants to catch runoff this time around… Smooth move… But yep if it does need a flush I will make a day of it tomorrow :+1: thanks again for the help, I know I didnt have much to go on besides the pictures.

I think he’s referring to the whole fox farms lineup. The grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom, and whatever else FF recommends when you’re this late into the grow.

Honestly I’d start with a flush of RO water or distilled or treated water PHd to 6.5 (I know that won’t be attainable without meters tho) and finish off with a light feeding of whatever full lineup you’re running. If it’s the FF trio, I’d do half the recommended dose of each of the three. She looks hungry but without runoff numbers or a soil slurry it’s hard to say it’s PH lockout or a nute issue definitively.

Either way though if you’ll have meters in the next couple days maybe start with a plain water flush and wait for the meters to do a feeding.

K got it on the flush thanks for that. As for the nutes my bad I am using tiger bloom AND big bloom… But should i really be using grow big at this stage in flower. The tiger bloom is 2-8-4. I figured that would be plenty of nitrogen for this stage.

On the bottle of grow big it actually says to SWITCH to a bloom fertilizer at the first signs of flowering. Should I actually be using it through flower?

Wow thanks @Deez I didn’t eben know a chart like this existed . I thought the bottle itself was a little bare for information haha. Spent so much time on the internet lately doing research about nutrients and never even went to the foxfarm website. :joy: probably the first place i should have gone. My bad and thanks again guys

It could be from a few things like ur ph isnt right ur ppm could be to high or ur not feeding it correctly or lock out u want to make sure ur ph and ppm is correct first before doin anything for lock out once you have check ur ppm and ph then u can work towards the lock out and if it is lock out you have to flush ur plants

Thanks @dbrn32 apparently I wasnt doing anything foxfarm recommended besides buying their products  I now see there is so much more to the instructions than what was on each bottle :joy:. The funny part is that ive been getting decent results and was no where near their recommendations, so I cant wait to see what happens now… Although now im getting away from the bottle and getting into dry amendments  so I guess I’ll never know… thanks again though

Imo ff trio is not very user friendly. I have even stopped buying their soil. Its pretty easy to point to those issues as likely being the problem here, but could be something like a simple ph issue too.

I also have stopped buying their soil. I agree - I’ve found it not very user friendly or tolerant of mistakes and more than once I’ve generously received fungus gnats or a pocket of random seeds that just erupt from the soil as a clump of random green along with my soil purchase.

I’ve switched to Coast of Maine at this point. Better quality, no contaminants, and when they say it’s organic I trust them. Fox Farms really plays fast and loose with what they consider to be organic or “safe for organic “which is a term that I think their marketing department has invented.

Yep I’m starting to see it’s nothing more than beautiful artwork and thats what sells . Ive never used foxfarm for my fruits/veggies and tried it this year and wasnt happy with those results either, I mean my garden has done just as well if not better with just some regular topsoil from my yard and cheap compost… I wont be buying anything of theirs anymore, besides maybe a poster  I do love their art…

Hey guys gonma flush today. I gotta individually take each plant outside to this  at least its a beautiful day. So @dbrn32 @Deez or anyone know a product similar to the FF sledgehammer they recommend? Or a home remedy? Or will water suffice? Again I just really dont want to invest in any more foxfarm products. Especially for a flush…

I just used 3x the amount of water as my pot can hold. Had a 10gal fabric pot, so flushed with approx 30gal water. My roses loved it.

You’re going to flush without being able to set ph? I would probably just use straight distilled water if that’s the case. You may still have some work to get your ph back to correct though.

I just cant wait till my meter comes in. I feel there will be too much damage done by then. I have the color chanhing test solution… Not very precise

Hey, the color change solution is great if you can get it just right

And I would use roughly 3 times distilled water as the size of my pots? Ouch thats gonna be 60 gallons of water… I dont think I could even buy that much distilled water around here even if I wanted to…

You should probably wait until you set ph on your water then.
