It is white widow from ILGM on day 36. I just noticed for the first time, a few white pistols coming out on the top and was wondering from what I’ve read if I should top it or leave it alone. Thanks for any input!
@Jethro1130c No not to late most top at 4th or 5th knot
Welcome fellow grower. I’ve not topped any of my autos. Some say the plants grow to fast that they want recover well. I’m even scared to defoliant due to what I’ve read about autos. But this group gives you knowledge from there experience, trials and errors. Can’t go wrong with that. Happy growing and share your pictures as rookies like me can be more successful.
Right now it is only showing sex. It should be safe to top.
If this is a auto i personally wouldn’t top it if its a photo absolutely go ahead!
It is a white widow auto. I think I’m not going to top it, but I’m looking for ideas to make it bushier. Also, at this point should I have my light on bloom and veg?
Perfect time to start LST. Nodes have good spacing. My current grow showing what I did. I started lst about day 14 or so. And a pic of what they look like today. About 40 days from sprout.
Fimming is considered Lst and may give you the desireable shape youre wanting. I agree i wouldn’t top an auto but have fimmed them with good results.
And, welcome to the community. This is a great place for knowledge and success.
Simply bending it over some can greatly increase yeild by makeing it more of a bush.
Obviously be careful to not snap it, it doesn’t take much at all to get the lower branches to shoot up.
Just a little lean to one side can go a long way.
Maybe
What light do you have?
How did you get some many to grow like that ? Lollipop
I’m on day 30 with my WW auto from ILGM. Was thinking that I was going to start to see the pistils any day now. Definitely going to be keeping on eye on your grow as I’m right behind you. From what I can tell our plants are very similar in size.
I would have it on veg for sure.
Just keep tying the branches outward away from each other. Low stress train them, cut off anything on the bottom 1/3 that is not going to amount to anything. All small little bud sights that don’t get much light on the bottom. Defoliate here and there but never more than 20% at any one time. Holler if you need help.
I saw your other post in regard to this little girl. She is probably an auto that was accidentally mixed into a photo batch. I’m of a mind that this occasionally happens.
So if that’s the case do I need to pull her? Or since she may be an auto do I just keep her going at the 18/6? To late to top then correct if she is already in flower?
I would definitely grow her out, she should still give good bud.
Yep, 18/6 is perfect. All the way out…
Looks great. Might try and fim a plant next grow.
Transitioning to flower
Keep her even in height as she grows
