Intentional stretching for a LST training method I’m going to try

I’m going to try a few types of training methods and I need these bad boys stretched a bit. Hopefully it works.

It would be easier on the site admin if you kept your post to one thread or journal versus opening one for every question of statement plus the community would have an easier time following along. I’ve used those pins for 2 years and they won’t get you any stretch or height. Lighting and genetics does that :love_you_gesture:

They’re stretching to find the light. All the stakes are doing is providing shade.

:thinking: ok but how can they stretch if their in the shade? Let the plant go through its growth stages and hit the stretch during flower :love_you_gesture:

It’s stretching to get to the light. That’s a normal process for plants. It’s very obvious in this picture.

Ok, you don’t won’t seedlings stretching or you’ll be mounding medium up to support it plus the main will be spindly. Your plant and grow through trial and error, just trying to help :love_you_gesture:

What’s the lighting DLI above this seedling, that’s what’s important :love_you_gesture:

The more the plant moves, the more it reinforces itself, like this one, for instance. Clearly this is going to be able to handle all the buds that want to grow on it. This is my first cannabis grow, but I’ve been building a worm farm since 2012. Worm castings are amazing.

:point_up_2: not sure I understand that statement. Worm farming and cannabis growing is comparing apples to cantaloupes. Grow forward young cultivator it seems you know what you’re doing and going to contradict those that have been growing awhile :love_you_gesture:
