Proportions of oil to flower to infuse

Welcome back! Personally since I gift most of the oil and butter I infuse. I use 5 grams of flower to 8 ounces of oil/butter. I decarb at 190-200 for 30/45 minutes and infuse at 225 for 3 hours. @Capt.Cola also infuses, we both use the Leevo 2 :love_you_gesture:

We use 15grams to 8 ounces coconut oil.
Makes a batch of 64 cookies.

Whooooweeee! I have never got a buzz from edibles… probably because I’m stoned already before I eat one :joy::joy:. My son and daughter-in-law love the oils and butter I make them. , he even scrabbles eggs with the oil :joy::joy::love_you_gesture:

I have been using between 14-16g to 12 fl oz of coconut oil or 3 sticks of butter. I’m like og and don’t really get a buzz off them. Probably because I’m smoking before but I like to take them to prolong the effects. I use the butter whenever I can. Used it on toast one morning a bagel another day. It does smell though.

Add a tablespoon of Sunflower Lecithin which will help the liver uptake the THC.

No idea. We freeze our butter until ready to cook with it.

I also stepped up to a Source Turbo to A: more precisely dose and B: eliminate chlorophyll taste.

@Myfriendis410 sun flower lecithin helps uptake? I thought it was an emulsiphier that helps its consitancy

I just made butter and decided not to ad the lecithen because im just putting it in brownies. Bummer. Guess ill redo it.

Yes, lecithin is an emulsifier. The thc will be more evenly distributed by using it
Lecithin also increases thc absorbtion by the body.
Noooo, dont theow out the brownies. Just try lecithin next time.

I will try it next time. Ive always liked edibles but never made my own butter. We would decarb eeed grind it good and put it right in the batter. Always worked good.

I guess my husband and I are a little hi test I decarb 60g of buds and put in 2 1/4cups of coconut oil or whatever I’m using to be infused. I get 2 cups =4 sticks
I use one stick for a batch of chocolates or chocolate chip cookies or 1/2 a stick for a batch of gummy’s about 50-54 pieces per batch
