Being as they are only another week or two from chop I didn’t think it would hurt her. The shorter lady’s still photosynthesizing (if that’s a word) so I’m not keen to take anything off of her.
Yes, definitely aphids, I confirmed with the microscope. They have been around since I stayed growing and I’ll catch a few leaves like that every few weeks. I had spider mites on the previous harvest, that sucked.
But I use neem for sure, and peroxide when they seem wide spread. The Durban’s will get some neem soon, one last time before flower… I don’t want to use the neem on the buds.
I have had some ladybugs in there too. I only noticed 1 that stuck around for more than 24 hours. But that article talked about wetting the plant before releasing and releasing in the evening. I’ll do that next time for sure!!
i hang the plant and then after a week i chop one of the little branches that has enough for one joint. i run it thru my grinder and then let it sit for an hour or two. i never use something to dry it out. i have found that you can get it dried enough to smoke by just grinding it up and waiting for a while before you smoke it. i add one gram per joint i smoke to the total to try to keep it commensurate (totals).
sorry, i guess i didn’t answer part of your question. i don’t chop buds off a plant that has not been chopped yet. growing pot, to me is a test of patience. if you are snipping buds from a growing plant then you have succumbed to impatience and that should try to be averted at any cost. but that is just me. if it is still growing then it is still getting better.
