Back from vacation post! All I can say is that these plants are crazy resilient.
First the Zkittlez who are starting to make me pretty happy. I underestimated them a bit I think…
For both zkittlez
4 day germ for both plants
21 day seedling for both as well
15 day veg
34 days flower as of today
Added some microscope pics today as they are cooking nicely. Maybe another week or two, but I’ll keep an eye on them. They got 1.5l each, touch of molasses cuz it tickled my fancy.
Had a look in this morning and they are definitely reaching for the sky…
I’ll give them a week or two to recover and flip them when the Zkittlez are ready for harvest.
Good learning on training. Gerty (front) is way too wide open at the moment and the soil is fully exposed to the light. Trudy on the hand is almost exactly what I wanted. Super pleased with her.
@scylents
I just found this journal of yours, Looking like you have really stepped up from your last one. Looking great!! I bought 20 zkittlez when they first released them on ILGM but have not grown any yet, started a few for a friend to grow but now I am getting ready do drop a few for myself. I am really looking forward to trying that strain.
scylents-
The first set of pictures are great. I think those are about ready when you are. Lots of milky trich’s and I saw some amber ones too. You know what you want from your plants, so you’ll chop them when they show you what your looking for. Great job!!! Peace…
For sure, I want sleep medicine from the Zkittlez. I want heavy amber all the way around. I’ll start trimming away fan leaves bit by bit through this week … swamped with work so I’m patient right now.
The fan leaves are nutrient warehouses for the plant. If you remove them than you also remove the option of the plant to reallocate nutrients to other parts of the plant where it’s needed. Of course if they are covering bud sites from light or leaf on top of leaf which can hold moisture and cause mold remove them but if not I personally wouldn’t.
Not sure which plant you were referring to so if one in veg they will be replaced if in late flower and you still have more time till harvest I would leave them as is.
My thoughts up to you
