Increasing bud density - WW auto

So I chopped one of my two ILGM WW autos and the buds have been hanging for about 8 days. The buds seem super fluffy and light, although really large. Are hybrids and sativa’s just not as dense as indica buds? Curious how to get thicker buds. My GG4 we’re definitely more dense.

Also…too early to tell if this bag seed is a male?

Someone else may chime in but from my limited time lurking, Ive gathered that autos seem to be prone to lighter airy buds.

Nice harvest Growmie and autos do generally produce lighter buds in my experience. I’ve had 1 super fluffy but most are about 65-75% as dense as photo periods. Now worries though because the buzz is the same :love_you_gesture:

I grew WWA several years ago. Probably same results as you. However, I also grew Blueberry autos and the buds were solid and dense. Blueberry is heavy Indica. Then again, Purple haze is heavy sativa and had rock solid buds. Breeding and genetics.

FWIW - do you use any aux lighting ? UV or Bud Booster 660/730nm(IR) range has worked out well for me. However, it may just be related to the quality of your light and paying attention to the DLI and distance.

Genetics, environment, lights. These are the big 3 for yield. Like stated, most autos tend to more fluffy flower (in general).
