Quick summary to date- I’m a first time grower. Ordered WHite Widow and Gold Leaf. This is for personal medical use so just starting 8 total. Saved some for a later planting in case the first ones fail or have low yield for any reason. I’m in SW FLORIDA. summer can be possibly too hot and wet for in ground planting (of anything) so I’m going to do rolling planters for half and ground grow the others. I threw the seeds in water 6/29 Thursday and they were open and sprouting a root in 24 hours! Planted them Sat 7/1 in a seed starter soil . They will live here until hardy enough to transplant to yard or lanai I. Plenty of sun. But heat is in 90’s every day and we get to torrential rains. So not doing ground planting for a bit. I’m looking forward to seeing what benefits I can get for Neorapathy, neoralgia pain that I’ve experienced for a decade. And also Colitis, panic anxiety, and OCD for a life time. I’m a 57 year old mom and nah nah. Wish me luck!

I’VE Got Sprouts noticed first one yesterday ( July 4th) of all days, and just took a peek and another literally sprouted overnight. Both gold leaf. And nothing from the White Widow yet. I thought it would be the other way around because the W.W. had a bigger water induced root faster than GL. But I’ll take whatever I can get. @Ray4x, @bruinsfan33, @bob31
ps watering with spray bottle as I had pre-wet my grow soil.

Looking good, let them dry out a bit. My WWA took about 3-4 days to sprout.
