Just popped a 5 seed batch of Black Widow and a 5 seed batch of Bergmans Gold Leaf 9 days ago. The pictures are of the strongest of each. Hopefully I’m doing this right, this is my first time on a forum. All criticism and advice are welcome! I just finished up 14 years in the military so I promise you won’t hurt my feelings. look good mate but i agree with @Cantgetnosatisfaction they look a little wet, dont water to much as you can kill them. A photo in natural light would be better.

Welcome to ILGM, and thank you for your service! Your kiddos look great, but I agree…maybe a little wet. Also, if you’re misting them, it’s not necessary at this point. It can actually burn the leaves if done when the lights are on. You’re doing great, so far. Don’t sweat the forum stuff…no one uses any of it right anyway 
Good choices on the strains! Do you plan to only grow a few, or all ten? How big is your grow area? What are you using for lighting? Is that Ocean Forest soil? Which branch? MOS? So many questions! LOL

Wow you guys are awesome! Full disclosure, I feel like a celebrity lol. I didn’t think anyone would even pay attention to my little grow… I’m going to reply to everyone but 1st I want to think of a coherent way to post all the logistics of my grow. Thanks for all the advice so far

Yes I probably took that pic right after I misted her. I was under the impression that little sprouts don’t yet have a root system so they have to take in all their water from their leaves - which is why you want a high humidity until they get their roots established. Using that logic, I figured I’d hit them with some mist once a day until they get a few leaves on them. It seems pretty unanimous that my logic is flawed though so I’ll put a stop to that right now.

Thanks for the warm welcome! As far as my service goes, I started off in the Navy on submarines of all places. Spent about 3 years doing that before I got selected for some hush-hush where I was working with the NSA. The op-tempo at that place was pretty hard on marriage #1 which ended in flames. The divorce landed me in a pretty dark place and a perfect storm came about where it looked like I did some hero stuff but if I’m honest, I was just trying to get myself killed. Anyway that caught the attention of some bigwigs and I got offered a job with special projects, USMC. After about a year of paperwork, selection and training I was over in the sandbox knocking doors down. One thing led to another and I got recruited into this “experimental interrogation” outfit. That lasted about a year before my psyche eval’s went downhill and I was back with the Navy, barred from frontline combat. The rest of my service was spent as a sonar tech on regular old boring destroyers. Wife #2 came and went and at the same time, the military started buying into all this political correctness stuff and I just wasn’t enjoying myself anymore. That’s when I knew it was time for me to do something else. It wasn’t until I got discharged that I realized my head was all messed up so for the first three months, I was talking to 4 doctors a week and taking a handful of pills every morning to get rid of the flashbacks and nightmares. It was actually my sister that suggested I try marijuana and ever since I haven’t had to see mental health at all! The only problem is that disability isn’t enough to cover even 1 or 2 grams a day, and the VA is federally funded so I’m 100% on my own when it comes to medical marijuana. Which is where ILGM comes into play.
Ok… sorry for the novel lol I figured I’d be thorough just in case anyone else had the same question.
