Just some potting soil I can’t remember the name and worm castings

Most potting soil has enough in it. You can give them half doses every other watering and should be good. Only increase if they show deficiency as too much can lock out phosphorus and potassium. Potting soils have dolomitic lime in them for ph stability, dolomity is high in calcium and magnesium.

Will do and thank you for the help so far in my grow. With this new tent I’m thinking I have enough room the friend that gave me the seed for the taller one called it Skittles or something not sure but surely it won’t grow over six foot ha

Just remember to flip it when it’s half the size you want! They double in the stretch

Just completed my first grow a few days ago and it was a success. Starting now on my second grow and I’m using a coco perlite mix. Any coco growers that could help me out with a few questions?
I buffered the medium with Calmag and soaked each pot for 16 hours changing out the solution after 8 hours. I know there is some nitrogen in calmag so I’m curious if that will pull the seedlings through to veg without needing to add anything.
My question is when will I need to add nutes?
Since I love a challenge I’m growing 3 different strains in a medium I’ve never grew in before lol. I made sure to pick strains that have similar environment requirements and would work well in the same space together. I appreciate the help growmies!

Yeah my first grow i didnt know i had to glip them at a certain height and i was at 4 feet tall when i glipped plants got huge had to take tent down and make a quick room so i had lots more head space. Lol. Learbed quick from that one. Zkittles strains r usually strretchy ones or anyone ive seen grow them and mine were tall lanky ones. Ive only done zkittlez autos from ilgm but it was a stretchy gal. Lol. But yeah if soil it usually holds nutes for 3 to 6 weekish depending how often u water and how much u water. I run coco and i use calmag every water just about unless im lazy on days and just fill a bucket with ro water and give ro water only. Otherwise unless the nutrients u run have it in them then cal mag is a must at every water using led lights causes the pkants to burn thru cal mag a little faster also so i always use it unless lazy. I do about 2 to 5ml oer gallon cal mag but i run a different calmag than that. So i dont know what those recommend to use and at what amounts. I run all general hydroponics stuff here or jacks 321 my additives are by jadvanced nutrients big bud and bud candy flower time only uses maybe add some bud candy here or there in veg to feed microbes a bit unless u run molasses. Otherwise i keep it kinda basic flower is where it gets more stuff for me flower fuel is also super great stuff for fliwer time helps boost lits for the fliwers. Veg time i run basic nutes jacks or gh trio and only use fulvic acid and sometimes i add some humic acid now and again once ir twice a week i add tribus to the feeds may sound complicated but its super super simple after first grow ull be onto it like nothing. Lol

I just switched over 12/12 today and watered both with a table spoon of the cal mag in my water Im not worried about either really but that’s what I’ve heard about zkittles and yeah that’s what it’s called zkittles lol I’m not worried about my white widow she’s just bushy I topped her a while back now she’s just growing out but there is space for light to get through to the bottom so hope all goes well haha and they are both photoperiod so…

First day of the flip to 12/12 so let’s see how much this zkittles strain stretches haha my tent is like six foot so I’m thinking flipping now is a good time

Will it effect my yield dramatically if I stay at 12/12 I’m not worried about height sorry if that’s a dumb question just curious

Your yield will based upon amount of plant and nodes. That pic show me you’d get about 2 oz harvest properly grown. Most of the light is gonna hit the floor in the wasted real estate(tent space). For me, it would cost more in power and nutes than amount of buds worth.

I’ve got more lights I can put in full spectrum but they are a little cheaper and haven’t put them in since I put the new tent up so maybe that will help

More light hitting the floor isn’t gonna benefit your yield. Filling up the space to use the lights and not have it hitting empty space is how to use efficiently.

What would you think I could use to defer the light from hitting those spaces?
