I'm a newbie! Please help me!

To be honest, I’ve grown with domes and without. I saw no difference at all so in my opinion it wouldn’t hurt to leave some on or take it off.

Seedlings can look all kinds of weird at first, but she will straighten up as she grows

All you gotta do is kick back and watch your little sprout develop…while waiting on the other…nothing else is required…lite mist on occasion…

Sorry for the late response on your tilted seedling, don’t stress it, they do wonky things early in life… if you ever watch seedlings in Timelapse they wiggle a lot. Set back and relax!

I did some bullshit with my other seed…I was so curious I saw it again… The radicle of the other seed was still the same size but it turned green in colour the shell was getting a little off… But there had been zero growth tho it felt really warm(seed)… I placed it knuckle deep for now and sprinkled some water…

Do anyone knows what’s happening?? I thought of giving it 3 more days.

Is there any hope? :sleepy:

Are you saying that 1 of the seeds has not came up yet but has cracked open, and the radicle/taproot has turned green ?
If so, this is kinda puzzling  they should only turn green when exposed to light for a period of time causeing chlorophyll to form.

I would say as long as the radicle is not turning brown or dark color then all I know to do is wait :man_shrugging:

Turning dark yellow, brown, all the way to black can be it rotting. This does happen sometimes to us all unfortunately.
Hopefully that’s not what it is and if it’s green like the same green leaves would be, I don’t think that is rot :+1:

I’d say those numbers look perfect to me :+1:

@1HappyPappy yes bro one of the seed didn’t pop yet…

I can’t see any root but I see leaf green spot on it…

I don’t know what I should really do with this bury it a little deep or keep this shell up…

@Autos-only @Bunger64 @RightAway

What is happening?? :flushed:

Sry my freind i got a little busy last night

Is that the actual seed showing and it is turning green even though it hasn’t cracked open?

If so, then that isn’t normal at all.
The “shell” of the seed shouldn’t change colors.
However It can have algae to grow on it and algae is green like plants, it gets its green color from the same thing as plant’s and that’s chlorophyll.

Im totally confused at what I’m looking at in the picture  I’m sorry :disappointed:

But how does it look today?

I’ve got a couple ideas if no change.

Like

  1. Is it possible that you planted the seed, it cracked open and the root pushed it to the top and exposed the shell above ground, and it’s still stuck in the shell?
Once above ground, it begain to grow algae on the shell and turned green🤔

Or

  1. Its not stuck in the shell but rather the plant is stuck in the shell membrane. The seed membrane is translucent or “see through”, so the plant could get light through the membrane and being to create chlorophyll and turning green.

Depending how it looks now, if no change, you may need to inspect it up close by very gently digging around it to see just exactly what’s going on.
Did it crack?
Is that a shell or a membrane?
Basically, what exactly are we seeing

I’ll do my best to help ya figure it out but just be prepared, if it’s stuck it the membrane, it can be extremely difficult to get them out sometimes without damaging or killing them

I don’t have good luck digging up baby seedlings…I germinate in damp paper towel wait for at least inch long roots…carefully plant them 1/16 " below soil… they are up within 2 days …voila easy as can be…

One more thing…I always start more seeds than I need…that way you can keep your grow all on the same timeframe…it does not work out as well when you start seeds weeks apart…just a thought…

I feel that seed life is over it’s still the same…
Should I remove that seed or let it be and plant another?

The other plant is doing fine…
