Im 7 weeks friday into flower do u think shell go the whole 9 to 10 week’s or do i think it be sooner im in no hurry to chop her but i am curious to hear what you guys think.
I’m seeing a lot of clear in there still got some time
I love when a plants right there and it takes a frequent look for ripeness. (we dont mind looking at our plants anyway eh) the excitment builds every day little changes are seen, sometimes making new colors or fattening up down low. what an experience, I cant wait to be there again! nice buds!
I have the same question . I dont want to hi-jack your thread but can someone look at my pictures and let me know if shes ready
I see white pistils still, also you need to look at the tricks on the bud and not the leaves. Would like to see some closer shots of trichd as well
@Medicineman33 ill take some more pics when i get off of work and post them . Ill b sure to get the bud and not the leaves. I did the leaves because thats where i seen some color. I also wanted to add these ladies are outside so its hard to tell when the time is right
Cool ya the tricks on the leaves mature faster than on the flower itself which is what you’re interested in
Ya theyre fine, your trichs look mostly cloudy from what i can see, but theres also some white pistils. They should turn brown and get kind of swallowed up by the calyxes as they fatten. After that its probably as big and potent as it will get. More amber ones mean more couchlock type stone
That’s par for wk6-7…You could lightly Shock her now with colder day/night temps, and flush her on wk 8… That should get her to mature those trichs in a timely fashion.
What are the best ways yo shock the plants ky night time temps get into the low 60s and my days time is about 75 to 79…any other ways ti shock them
Ripening occurs during the last two weeks, Big Smell and Big taste during that time. I would wait till you start seeing some amber. If you dont like couchlock dont let it get past a couple amber. There is still alot of shimmer in your trichs. They should all be as opaque as the bottom of this banger from top to bottom of trichome.
You got a week, maybe even 2 still to go. Be patient, its worth it.
@Docnraq thanks for detailed info i appreciate it. I need all the help i can get as this is my 1st harvest…any pointers…im in the deep south and ive been banging my head against the wall trying to think out the drying process as that seems to be sketchist part of avoiding the hay smell and taste
@CLICKYBONES how would someone go about doing that being in the deep south with nights hot as hell and days even hotter ??
just like most females…she will be ready when she is ready…it is your job to support and love her until she decides it is time…just sayin’
‘just like most females …she will be ready when she is ready…’ Thats funny there @Retiredoldguy.
This is part one of a three part harvest series by Bill Ward I follow it and the other two videos and have had great success drying and curing.
