I’ve been growing for quite some time – and ILGM is by far the most expensive for seeds. Other sites have seeds for $10 and below – ILGM avg is $20 that’s absurd and please do not bemoan quality of the seed and resultant quality of the plant.
I’ve tried alot and essentially all the same – so why the high cost ILGM?

Spending months on a plant for it to turn out poorly vs good quality genetics is worth the extra $$ in my opinion. Seed cost is the least of your expenses.
Agreed! Hey @MotaMan , when you are growing a plant that can yield +$1000 worth of bud, the extra $10 is good insurance. I just wish I could get a better selection of high CBD from ILGM cause they (ILGM) are the best.
They’re like $6-7 if you do the 10 + 10 and have the best guarantee in the industry…
Yes, the reason is customer support in addition to the excellent guarantee. The suupport is even offered to those of us who get seed elsewhere. That is commendable.
I’ve ordered seeds from over the pond just to watch them get held up in Chicago. Then wait 30 days for a new ship. Although I did get bonus beans, they are always regular beans.
Since ordering from ILGM, and yeah the beans are a little high priced, I’ve had 100% germ rate. But not to say some faired well. They did germinate.
As for customer service. I honestly don’t think you will find any better. I received some crushed beans. I took a photo and sent to customer service. They replaced all my order without question.
Nah – your excuses do not justify a $20 seed — I get 1000.00 plus plants from $10 seeds all the time…

100% germination guarantee or replacements is hardly an excuse and not $ 20 a seed. Sounds like you’re just trying to stir the pot

ILGM has so many more positives than one negative. I have never spent 10.00 a seed. Must be the new math.
It seems you have had issues with ILGM for some years now. Be it because of ordering and banking discrepancies, complaints about costs or products offered, you’ve seen to have had a problem with the business end of their operations for a long time. There are plenty of other forums, and plenty of other vendors/breeders/seed banks. Topics like these only clog the forum, unsettle the chill, and make moderators day a little more busy.
The extra cost is easily offset by the germination guarantee @MotaMan. With the sticky fingering policy that our communist USPS has implemented I like the guarantee that I will in fact receive the beans, or more will be sent. Also the fact that USPS routinely irradiates packages, and again the germination guarantee. The price is spendie but as others have said a 10$ magic bean can become a 1000$ magic bean stalk. I only buy when they go on sale.
And they arrive in 2 weeks.

With the ILGM 10 for 10 deal i get 20 seeds for $129=$6.45 per seed. Under $10. I wouldn’t pay $20 a seed either and most people DON’T with ILGM seeds. Just sayin’.
I agree only buy 10+ mix packs or 10+10 deals and it’s a winner!
I bought 50 seeds for 318$ comes out to 6.36$ each 
I can say from experience, ILGM stands behind their seeds quickly.
