Ice water hash, first wash

This is my first wash, first try at bubble hash. This was just clearing up what I missed in dry sifting when I trimmed.

To be clear, I’m not using the dehydrator, just the tray. I’m going to air dry it on parchment paper with brown paper underneath.

I’ve done bubble hash and dry ice hash: dry ice is WAY easier. Instead of using 4 screens you use one (72 micron) and sift until you start to see green. Works just as well, takes 1/10th the time and is smokable immediately.

Appreciate that tip :love_you_gesture:

If you stick with the bubble hash technique I recommend get a 5 gallon paint mixer attachment for a power drill. It’ll save your arms and give you a lot more yield quicker. Also not sure what the temps were when you did it but I’ve found you get the most outta bubble hash when it’s around 40 degrees out.

Temps were mid 30s today and I was working out in the garage.

That’s about perfect. Gotta watch when them temps dip lower. I was doing a run a week ago when temps were in the low 20’s and the water was freezing to the screens. Luckily I had some space heaters to help combat the cold a bit hahaha

I squeezed it between a 25 mesh on a towel to blot up the excess water. I ended up with about double what’s in the picture . After drying 3 days, I broke up the pucks into chunks to let it dry better. After it dries , I’ll roll it with hot water and make some temple balls. Already getting ready for my next run. The first was afghani, the next will be purple kush.

Love the temple balls!!! I usually roll mine into 3-5 gram balls and let them age 6 months or so. At this point I usually have 2-3 ready every 6 months and usually those two will last until the next batch is ready.

I decide to freeze it and grate it instead, now I’ll let it finish drying. Then on to the Frenchie hot water method.
