I think it’s going ok with my sour Diesel

Hello everyone, I hope all are well. I’m kind of a newbie to this. I’ve posted a couple of questions before and everyone was very helpful. I’ll be a month in as of Tuesday. I’m currently growing indoors due to the weather. I have the girls in a 24x48x72 tent, with a SF2000 light, 5gal fabric pots and I’m using FFOF. I’m also using an oscillating fan and I believe I think I have all the meters I need to make sure all is good. I also have a SF in-line fan w/carbon filter which I haven’t installed yet, because I’m not exactly sure what is the best way to do so. So here are some questions: I had some discoloration on a couple leaves on one plant but that was about 10 days ago and I’m trying not to stress over every little thing. That doesn’t seem to be an issue anymore. I haven’t started feeding them any nutes yet because some of you suggested that the FFOF had enough nutes to get them to about week 4. So I’m getting ready to start tomorrow. I thought that might be a good idea since they were just transplanted into the 5gal pots. Oh I forgot to mention I topped them 6 days ago. They were on their 6 node and planted those clippings. A friend of mine told me that he had done that and got more plants. I’m sure you guys can tell I’m new to this, but I absolutely love it.
Next time I post anything I’ll try to keep it a little shorter.

You have just transplanted and have fresh soil packed with nutes for your girls, so you should begin feeding at 4 - 6 weeks from your last transplant. You should monitor runoff PPM to determine specifically when to begin feeding nutes. Start feeding when PPM dips below 1,000 for the first time.

What meters do you have to measure ph and ppm? Might as well ask now before u have to test ppm

I’m guessing that I need another meter beside this one

Oops…. I’ll try again to share the pics

I also have a hydrometer and a thermometer

Could someone tell me what kind of meters I need

Thanks for letting me know about when to start feeding them nutes. I put the question out there already about what kinda meters I need, but I did it in a reply. I’m not sure if I need to start a new topic every time I want to ask a question

Your plants are looking good. A little leaf variegation but nothing to worry about. You’ll need a PH pen. Apera 20 is a nice little inexpensive one and a TDS pen. Apera makes a combo of these 2 -The Apera 60. I use a BlueLab TDS pen. You’ll need both for mixing nutrients to the right PPMs and PH and for checking run off so you’ll know how much nutrients to feed on those nutrient feed days :love_you_gesture:

A humidistat and pH and PPM meters. Apera makes great meters. I use a PC60 which measures both pH and PPM. Bluelab makes great meters too like @OGIncognito mentioned.

I suggest starting a journal for your grow and using it to post and ask/answer questions. It keeps everything in one place so you can refer back if needed.
