So I think I understand what’s going on here
First, there’s too much nitrogen as evidenced by the shiny leaves. I fed tiger bloom once the ppms were down to 1100 at half strength and that was the result.
Then once ppms came down to 900 I fed big bloom at 1/4 strength two weeks in a row and the result is what looks like nutrient burn together with calcium/magnesium deficiency.
From reading, too much phosphorous can cause this and create nutrient lockout, or I may have lockout because I haven’t flushed them and the salts from fox farm trio has built up.
The day after the second feeding of big bloom I noticed the tips were burned and it’s progressed to signs of calcium deficiency. I know it’s not low ph because water going in is 6.8
This is my first grow and I’m 7 weeks and change in flowering. So I’m definitely seeing how things can turn if over feeding and not flushing. I could probably get away from flushing per se if I watered to a little more runoff and maybe wait til the plants are saying they’re hungry before feeding.
Also I’m in smaller pots so maybe there’s a root bound issue as well. Definitely learning.
Switch to Jacks 321 and you won’t have to worry about salt buildups. The FF Trio is extremely salty.
Improper pH causes nute lockout, not phosphorous.
Welcome to the forum.
Burned tips is caused by excess nitrogen.
Big Bloom isn’t going to cause nute burn. All it contains is micronutrients (copper, iron, boron, manganese,…) . It’s really hard to hurt a plant with excess micronutrients.
Tiger Bloom is a PK product and contains little nitrogen and won’t cause dark green, waxy leaves. I see no evidence of excess nitrogen.
Based on the appearance of your leaves your nitrogen content is fine. You might even consider upping nitrogen a bit and she is the the “stretch” and nitrogen demand is high. It’s a pretty healthy plant and I see nothing to worry about.
Big bloom is organic. Really hard to burn your plants with that. With fox farms you need to feed, water, then feed again in a cycle. Get good runoff each time to help control the salt. Need to follow the schedule on the flushes or you will get lovked out. I started with the ff trio wet and dry nutes. Can be done well but a pain in the butt to do right.
