I Only Got Preflowers

“My autoflower seeds are not flowering: 5 of 9 plants, indoors, in soil, under 16 hours of light per day, are only showing tiny preflowers or none at all. The other 4 plants have flowered and matured normally. Strain is white widow.”

Run light longer. I run my autos at 20/4. The longer the light the more growth for autos.

While some autos go right into flower ,you do come across plants that will need a Lil nudge to get going.
Drop light cycle to 12-12 and that should do it.
Remember autos have photo genes as well,so this could explain the situation

Iam going to say something “drastic”, but the ones following my grow will understand…
So here is how you make them to flower…:
Drop the night temp to low 40"s, forget light cycles 24/0 or 20/4 is not natural and artificial.
Anyway, cold nights will make them flower well…
I know, the grow bible does not say anything like that

One of my autos started flowering nearly 2 weeks before the other two but they eventually did their thing too. I just waited it out because I was too nervous to change anything. I think autos can just be stubborn sometimes. I never really thought about it but them having photo genes too makes a lot of sense.
