I got a thing, so I did a thing

Thank you for your kind thoughts. I’m still researching this topic to try to move it even farther forward. I don’t know why I am having so much fun doing it…but I am!

I appreciate you being a part of it. Peace :victory_hand:

Me too😂 Amazon should give @Darran a little cut. I wonder how much they have already made and are going to make off this thread alone

Hey, has anyone else seen the new ILGM seed packaging? I’ve gotten 2 orders of seeds now with it. It looks like a thicker heavy-duty cigarette pack with a placeholder for up to 5 different tubes of seeds. It also flips open like a cigarette pack. Comes with some promo and grow guide cards in it. Very clever design, I’m liking it a lot. Anyone else?

I haven’t weighed it yet but I got this off the trim from one plant :exploding_head: man I’ve wasted a lot over the years :joy: thanks again for this post @Darran :folded_hands:t2::+1:t2:

After pressing do I need to cure it before smoking? The plant hung for 12days before trimming so it’s fresh

I didn’t cure it because it’s just the trichomes and not the green plant matter. Everyone who has tried it has absolutely loved it. Your kief looks right on target and I like the screen you got. So glad I was able to help @bboyfromwayback

That makes sense. I’m bout to roll a joint and put some in it. That trim bin is the berries, very easy to use :+1:t2:

Hey, check out this post. I had a chance to show some of my kief and hash at this event as well as some of what I had grown as part of the GFOG Community Grow Off!

That’s really cool! Thanks for the rundown of the event. Sounds very chill for sure. I wasn’t sure how something like this would go down. I’ll have to try and make it to one someday. Free dabs and cool swag👍🏻

I pressed mine with a c clamp and put in the oven c clamp and all at 180° for 20 minutes. Worked out just fine.

I started doing that. The first couple I didn’t and they broke apart a little. Heating them up definitely keeps them together

That’s perfect @Mucluc . Also, @bboyfromwayback , did you have it break up trying to get it out of the press? If so, that’s why I put just a thin coating of olive oil on the inside of the press, helps it slide out. But heating it definitely makes it more pliable.

@Darran This is so cool! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Yeah I really need to find people around me that wanna hang out and do stuff like this with me :rofl:

I followed your directions with the parchment paper and oil (thanks btw, very helpful :+1:t2:) but the first couple split down the center taking them out. That was without heat though just trying it out. Now that I’ve been doing 180 for 20min in the oven they come right out in perfect form. I been breaking a piece off and crushing it back into powder to lace into a doobie before bed. :poop: is potent!!!

Hey @bboyfromwayback , I’m so very happy that it worked out for you and that you’re enjoying it! It is a great way to lace up a joint or bowl. I appreciate your feedback

I appreciate this post buddy! I pressed over an ounce of pucks off this harvest :+1:t2::+1:t2:

Now can ya take the pucks and do the hot water wine bottle roll to melt it all together :green_heart::sign_of_the_horns:t2:

Where did you get the press to make the pucks?
