So I’ll post a full update this afternoon sometime with pics of the individual plants and explanations of the training from last night, but for now here’s a pic of them all haggard looking after the abuse when I finally got them back in the closet around midnight, lol.
And a pic of them this morning to show how fast they bounced back overnight. It’s as if nothing happened! I topped all of them except the two Sour Stomper x Forum Stompers. Those two are doing fine, but they lacked the vigor of the other six, so I decided to just bend them a bit and not go further with them for now.
@Twelve1, I water/feed the entire area around the solo cup, including to and around the stem in the middle, making sure to get total saturation. I just make sure to add the water/feed solution very slowly. I don’t pour it because it’s too difficult to control the flow, and a seedling can easily get uprooted from a rush of water, so I apply it with a large syringe. But I believe in getting runoff from the very first watering to the end of the grow!

Absolutely! From the late 50s to the early 70s was the peak of the corny Godzilla & all those monster movies! I love watching those as a kid, I used to get a kick out of them, fun to watch here and there still although the wife, Is. It into it at all, so I usually watch them if I do when she’s not home, also Bruce Lee movies were just as much fun
I used to love being on the shop floor and sing out one line from an old tv series like Leave It to Beaver or Gilligan’s Island and wait about a min or two and hear someone hollar out “THANKS, MAN!”
The 4 grey fabric pots are 7 gal, and the 4 black ones are 5’s.
I wanted them all in 5 gal’s, but I screwed up and didn’t have as many as I thought so I had to use the 7’s. Normally I keep the 7’s for coco grows.
Thanks I normally use 5s my self. I found 1 gallon is pretty much good for up to 5 oz top feeding… And then just multiply by the size pot I use. I normally use 5s for my autos. I am on the fence for my next grow. All autos or 4 and then 9 photos in 1 gallon pots I get to chop another plant next weekend. Then only 2 to go
Hey all, I’m really sorry for the lack of updates. I had a really busy weekend, and it was all unexpected. One of my neighbors asked me to give him a hand dropping the mower deck from his tractor and installing a snowblower attachment. It turned out what he really meant to ask is if I could do it for him, lol. I don’t mind because he’s an older dude and a nice guy, but I didn’t think it would take me almost an entire day, lol. Then just to really twist the knife I got a flat tire on the way home from the supermarket yesterday, in the pouring rain, lol. Anyway, glad the weekend is over.
So I still have to go through all the pics from the night I topped these girls, but here’s a quick peek at how they look this morning.
There’s 6 of them left in the closet for now. I had to move a couple out because they were bumping elbows.
Morning @Cap_Ron , I know my eyes are getting bad but I can’t tell where you topped those. The second picture, they do look fuller though. The seeds I was getting ready to drop got put on hold as I was gifted a couple Northern Lights clones. I am looking forward to starting my seeds soon and getting explosive results from my auto’s after following along.
@Fishyswaw, sorry for the shitty pics where you can’t see anything. I’ll sort through the pics I took during the toppings as soon as I get some time and post another update.
One of the reasons I didn’t get to it yet is because my eyesight is pretty poor as well. It’s a strain for me to stare at the screen squinting at the pics. Eventually I’ll need to see a doc and get some glasses, lol.
I get to chop another plant next weekend. Then only 2 to go
