I’m on my fourth successful grow and I still consider myself a noob. On my current grow I’m using a new water source, an Artesian spring , from a well. When I first started with this water supply, I thought I discovered a miracle in The Growers world. The pH was 6.1, the ppm was 28. Wow ! I thought. So I fed and watered for about a month with great results.( I’m growing a Bruce banner in coco, mid flower ) So in the past ten days I became over confident and stopped checking my pH. I started noticing the leaves started to yellow. I thought… OK I’m in flower so I’m gonna get some of that. Wrong! More and more started to yellow and fall off. Well… I flushed with distilled water thoroughly , then topped off with half strength Lucas formula…I have foliar fed with cal mag and raised my lights a bit. Is there anything else I can to to nurse my girl back to health ? ( besides check pH ? )
@Steveo
I learnt my lesson
Ph. Ph. Ph. Ph. Ph. Ph
@Steveo Just curious if you changed anything from your first 3 grows? Nutrients, grow media, maybe overwatered? Anything you can think of? Im very curious to this as I had a disagreement with another member here over PH. My water like yours is always perfect and after my first grow in soil I stopped checking PH and well I just harvested my 3rd grow and am now on my 4th so im very interested in what is figured here. Could you tag me on this so I know what you come up with in case I hit the same issue?
Forgot to mention … That sometime in the past ten days my " perfect " water pH dropped to 4.6. . since this is an Artesian well there are many reasons for it to fluctuate. So… I’ll be checking my pH Faithfully from now on.
@Steveo what are growing in coco ?
You really should stop folior feeding week 2-3 of flower and stop calmag feeding as well unless there is a calmag problem I wouldn’t feed that in flower after weeks 2-3. But I’m not sure what your growing , please fill out a support ticket it would help a lot and post a few pics in normal light as well if possible.
