Humidty too low curing

Just trimmed my plants to cure since they were super crispy dried for 5 days i touched em and they broke in my hand, Put them in jars and humidity 37% ik that’s super bad wha can i do to up it ? don’t wanna ruin these plants

If they start getting too crispy it’s usually the point of no return once they dry up too much you won’t be able to rehydrate them

Grab 2 good sized fan leaves from another plant and put them in the jar. Change them out every other day for fresh ones until your jar rh is where you want it. They’ll slowly add humidity without adding off flavors/smells, and less likely to mold than a citrus peel or carrot.

got yah ima add some fanleaves right now. how many in the jar 1 ?

I’m with Drinkslinger, use fresh leaves to up the RH. If no leaves around, I’ve been known to make some paper towel squares dipped in ro or distilled and wrung out mostly and placed the jar to up the RH.

I’d use 2/jar. (Quart size jar)
You’re trying to slowwwwwly add some humidity back.
I’m not saying there wasn’t any degradation from overdrying, but you can salvage what you have and probably barely notice the difference.

was at 38% its now at 41% once it hits like 65-70 i should start burping correct ?

Burping not only lets fresh air in, it lets the fermented stagnant air out.

I’d burp at least 1/day for the next 2 weeks (regardless of rh). Then at least every couple days after that until the first month is done.

You can also use a torn off piece of a ‘Magic Eraser’ or generic. Rinse in R/O and wring mostly out.
