Huge autoflowers? super autos?

hey i have made a few posts the last couple days about my blueberry autos that i got from ilgm that are growing quite large from what i was expecting. i have 4 and they are all about 34 inches tall and growing still. i am wondering why they are so big compared to what i see most other peoples autos finish out to be? i have seen posts about super autos and i am wondering if this might be what is going on? i planted 4 with the thought of them not getting much bigger then 2 feet and they passsed that a month ago and im running out of room? they are flowering but very slowly in my opinion. is there anything i can do to help them along before i totally run out of space? please help thanks ilgm!

My ilgm ww auto are huge too bro. Thats what i wanted was a good hearty auto and that what i got with them, but i also stress trained mine and they are huge. Some stalks are as big as quarters and would be super tall but they are trained down a bit like an “s” shape.

How long have they been in flower ?

Im not really keeping a journal but they were huge during veg as well. Id say they have been in full on flower for about 2 maybe weeks. Funny they are all the same strain except one ak 47 but they all have very different characteristics as far as shape, stature and node spacing. Even smell slightly different from one another. Heres a pic of a big stemUploading…

Mine have been in flower for about 2 1/2 to 3 weeks? Thats when i first noticed the white flowers forming and im pretty sure its in full flower but its just taking forever for the buds to form. Dont get me wrong i am very impressed with what they have become but i did not plan on them getting this big or i would have never planted so many. here are some pics of mine i currently have the lights on for 18/6 is there anyway to help them bud faster? would less light maybe help them flower faster since they seem to be more like a regular female plant or would more light be better? any thoughts?.

Gentle LST tie down the tops with some ties it should stop growing soon maybe a week or two it will shift to just thickening them buds … but I think it will work buddy … good luck they look great …

Super auto’s grow to full size plants as if out doors,am looking at where I can buy some.

I’ve only grown two Autos but they were both about four feet from floor to top

they look a little stretchy because of low light I don’t know if much you can do at this point?

I think the stretch might be about done at this point

For flowering shouldn’t the light ratio should be kept right at 12/12. Some posts say you need to be really careful not to let light leak in during dark. Sounds important. What light ratio do people use, and when?

Or is light at 18/6 ok because they are Auto’s…?

Actually many leave the lights on 18 / 6 because light is where they grow bulk then the last week or two work the light down to 10 14 and 48 hours dark right before harvest because the plant will try and bulk up on resins due to the dark .

I’m with @Oldstoner on this 18-6 light schedule is perfect for the autos

That is probably the best advice I was ever given if you have no patience you will have trouble what lighting do you have on them? If it’s just the CFL’s I think you may need to higher watts of cfl

Autos I give them suckers 24 hours of light … I got some beautiful red poisons now going on 20 days old about 16 inches tall … they are reaching for the stars… trying to get them to stretch real nice and good

Will you cut that light down eventually?, I’m thinking of throwing a few Autos into the next grow again, I"lll start them after the first 6 Reg. Fem. plants are out, my question is ; What size pot are you starting them in and what light are you using to start them , as I’m thinking of buying my first light. I’m an outdoor grower and start inside for the first 4 -5 weeks.

I leave the light on 24/0 through the life of the plant … I’m using the hydromars 192 reflector series from seed at 30 inches after first true leave 26 inches after second set 24 and third set 18 inches the rest of the way … m:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::ok_hand:t2::ok_hand:t2:
I put them in 3 gal maxx pots … but have the super autos in 5 gallons …
