I am using a mars hydro light, got it from amazon.
With help from others on here I discovered my virus were not happy cold. Even after one night in their insulated home they have perked up!
A cheap option for heat. Is a clay pot and a candle. Search youtube for clay pot heaters. They are ingenious and can be very cheap to run. U can get a pack of like 100 candle pucks for like 2.50$
@diz Ok with that in mind no point selling my babies short want to give them a strong start, not sure how i will secure the insulation to my tent but I am sure I will figure it out.
@iGrowBud These look awesome, silly question but do you actually leave these in your grow room? I get concerned about fire hazards as my garage isn’t exactly the strongest structure

Yeah will be tough to secure with a grow tent. I made my box with a timber frame so securing the insulation was with screws with washers.
Blankets worked ok too before the insulation but still was not quiet enough

Just be careful. There are fireplaces in almost every home. Neighborhoods dont burn down cuz someone was cold. Unless it’s a government coverup and they use lasers to burn an entire town. Cough cough Paradise CA.

Thought about that, then decided it too much work darkening the whole shed… I may do it when O get my own land and set up.
I do the same. 18/6 that kicks off at 3pm. So far it is working well at keeping my levels nice and low. I do have to switch my exhaust to 24/7. Running new light - and RH had creeped up to 90% - no more. Need them back to low 50s%
Haha, I was considering this myself, jut getting a whole stack of reflective film and doing the entire shed… but probably not the best idea in a rental lol so went with a grow tent inside there.
I was absolutely surprised by all the Aussie’s (and to know we share the same woes with environment in winter)! Good to be able to chat to people in similar area’s to yourself for info.
