How’s the best branches should I trim?

My dilemma in my mind is wondering if it’s better to:

  1. Have 10 primary branches (5 nodes) to take to bud, or
  2. Have 6 primary branches (3 nodes) and let those and several secondary branches bud.
    ??
Just wondering if the lower 2 branches are kinda weak typically??

I haven’t had great buds from lower branches. I keep them on the plant for revegging purposes mostly.

I only grow autos, but yes…though you can just let them grow out and reassess/train. If you are not regretting leaving them alone in your last grow, leave them alone now and learn from the experience and then you can hack them off next time if you want

If you flatten everything out, the nutes feed all the buds more equally and you don’t have to worry as much about being uneven

@VirginiaGrowBoy has you covered. If you keep your canopy flat and even the plant thinks all the colas are main colas. I hope :crossed_fingers: I’m making sense. :v::call_me_hand:
