22 day old autoflowers in soil 5 gallon pots. How much water is normal at once. Is it best to saturate then allow to dry or keep it slightly damp with smaller amounts.

Water till it comes out the bottom. Unless you’re in super soil. Water until run off helps keep salts from building up
Soil is ffof and happy frog equal parts.
You should always water to runoff once your plant is old enough to take it, that way you know what your ph and ppms are. For instance, im in a 5gal pot and I use ffof as well. I usually give the plants 2 gallons of water whenever I feed. Then I wait til the soil starts pulling away from the edges of the top, which is usually a good indicator that the soil is dry. You want your soil to get dry before you water. I wouldn’t give small doses more often. I usually water once every five days or so but just monitor the moisture and judge by how light the pot is whenever you pick it up.
