How much light should I use during different stages of the plant?

I have 3 different 100W LEDs. I have two Phlizon brand lights which are dimmable, and one Vivosun brand light that is not dimmable.

I have a wattage meter and can confirm the Vivosun runs at 100W and the Phlizon at it’s dimmest setting is 12W and gradually increases to 100W as you turn the knob.

So those are the lights I have to use

I am getting ready to start some seedlings.

How should I use the lights from seed to harvest?

I’m guessing I should start with one of the dimmable ones and gradually increase watts and eventually use a second and maybe third light.

Can anyone give me a schedule I can follow and kind of tell me how much watts should I be giving them throughout different life stages?

I also don’t know at all how high above the plant the light should be.

Any tips on how to tell if it’s not getting enough vs too much light? I kind of know about how many hours per day it should be getting, just not the intensity of light

This is my first grow ever, so if someone can tell me exactly what to do and give me like a light schedule that would be badass. I just don’t know how much light/watts and how high should it be mounted and how many of my three lights should I be using at different stages.

This chart refers to the “Daily Light Integral” which requires taking readings of your light output. There is an app called “Photone” that may be helpful but never used it.

How many plants were you wanting to run and how big is the space?

You have some time before filling up your grow space so here’s what I’d do:

Run one light over sprouts set at 50% and 12" above. If that won’t light up all the sprouts, raise light and set at 100%. A heat mat is helpful too and I run sprouts on a 24/0 light schedule.

As plants get bigger (I use Solo cups full of coco—DON’T use potting soil!) you can start adding lights for coverage.

Those three lights combined will do a great job of one plant and a half-ass job on two plants. Adequate light is needed to properly fill in flower bulk. Otherwise you will have loose, airy flower.

If growing Hydro some additional questions:

-DWC? RDWC? Autopots? Ebb and Flow? Other?
-Distance of liquid below net pot (DWC)
-Temperature of reservoir
-TDS of nutrient solution
-Amount of air to solution
