How long more for my Auto flowers

This is my second year planting auto flower and i want advise on if it is time to harvest or how long more do they have. Last year i think i waited too long. I live in NY and i plant outside during the spring/summer season. The weather is changing here and dont want that to.affect them. I dont have anywhere to put them in the house.

First off welcome to the family

How long have they been flowering I still see a lot of white pistols. Once they turn brown and recede into the bud you can start looking at trichomes.

They started flowering at the start of August. Thank you for the feed back…im just a little worried about temp here affect them if they have to push out to October

Welcome @Rere How old are they?..From what I can see the trichomes look pretty milky…Ideally you’d want to see some amber but if the risk is there for damage because of rainy weather Id pull them too…cut your loses… The temps wont harm an auto pretty much…I have an “experimental” grow journal on here and i did winter autos rain and near freezing without problems
Do you have a covered garage or she to put them in?..Or maybe a tarp to shield them…beach umbrellas?

They are about 13 weeks from germination to now. Its not the rain that im worried about its the drop in temp. But if you say that doesn’t affect them then i will leave them out for another few weeks and harvest early October. Thank you for your feed back i want to make sure i get as much potency out of them as last year i think i waited too long to harvets :upside_down_face::pray:t4:

Yeah the only thing I believe would be harmful would be a frost…That probably would kill even a Auto… As far as waiting too long dont feel bad I did that with my Trizzler auto this year It was really sticky and fragrant and I was waiting for amber trichs which never came and I noticed the plant started to loose stickiness and smell so yeah harvest time is crucial…
