How long can I safely use nutes?

So I’m planning on using fox farms fertilizers. I am going to cut the recommended feeding amounts by 3/4. My question is if I mix a gallon and feed a only a half gallon how long can i keep the other half gallon before it spoils? Wish I could find a metric feeding schedule so I would need to do all this silly fractional math.

It can last upto a week if u put an air pump with ar stone in it t keep it good. If its just sitting with no air pump in it, maybe 24 hours or so

I use fox Farm myself and I will use it until about 3 days or so. I have no scientific basis for that. It’s just something I do. I also start feeding them around half the amount and work my way up to 3/4 or full amount. Good luck and enjoy your grow

I would try to just mix what you need. If you need to mix extra don’t do anymore than 1 additional feeding. As pointed out aeration will help keep elements suspended, but will also mess with your ph some.

Sometimes I worry about what’s in these nutes we use to grow plants we then ingest via smoking

This is what I use. I have the Big Bloom, grow big, and tiger bloom. Then I bought the Beastie bloomz and cha ching. The only thing I’m feeding that is not Fox Farm is my Cal Mag. The Cal Mag I’m using is from General Hydroponics.
I also use this stuff called the VSS (Veganic Special Sauce) microbial tea. I find its a good nute regime. Still learning all the nuances to it. But over the last few years it seems to do the trick. Have a nice morning
Ps I’m sure there’s members on here who have used all 12 of their products. But I have not. When I started the guy at my local grow store basically said what I have would work well. But I’m sure adding some of that extra stuff would be pretty good. I’m not opposed to it I just haven’t done it I guess.

All at the same time?

If you mean do I feed all those nutrients the same time to my plants? The short answer is no. What I do is follow the fox farm feeding schedule for soil. And then for something like that Cali Magic, which is my CalMag, I follow the back of the bottle because it’s not a fox farm product.
I hope that helps. I hope I didn’t misunderstand your question. Please feel free to ask In case I misunderstood or if you need any clarification. Have a nice morning.

Yes that is exactly what I meant. I actually asked the question because of their schedule. I confused this old dummy. While I was at the store looking at all their products and how wonderfully expensive they were it hit me. I can buy a bag of worm castings for 6 bucks and make worm tea for practically nothing. Plus it will be really hard for me to burn my plants to the ground. So going forward I think that will be my approach.

Lots of people make their own soil or buy cheaper soil and add stuff to it excetera. If you haven’t already I’m sure you will see some good recipes people have posted around making soil pretty cheap. I wouldn’t be opposed to making my own some day.
