Need some expert eyes to give me an idea where this plant is. Trichrome’s always look cloudy to me so I don’t trust myself to know yet. Some brown pistols to. Don’t want to jump the gun .
Hey
From those pics they look mostly clear to my eyes, can you get some closer shots of trichromes as clear as possible if you can
what do you guys see @kaptain3d @OGIncognito @MidwestGuy
I’m sorry if I always end up tagging the same people it’s just I know you guys know what you are doing
I’ll see if the kid can get a better close up
@PurpNGold74 , The Keeper of The Mysterious Hole, is really good at guesstimating the ripeness of a bud by looking at the whole bud… he’s a good one to tag in those situation… imo…
Thanks for letting me know
Appreciate the tag @Firstimer1299 . Without scope shots of the buds the long amber pistils lead me to believe you have a approximately 2 weeks left
The infamous 2 weeks left!
It also was my initial thinking…
I hate it and was going to say 14 days
Tried shooting through a stamp magnifying glass but didn’t work well. Ordered a cheap iPhone microscope to try for the heck of it.
You definitely have some time left as they look like you still have quite a few clear ones,
maybe wait a few days and get pics with the iPhone microscope you ordered
I wouldn’t even check the trichomes until you don’t see anymore white pistils. That usually gets me to around 90% milky. Also don’t zoom in on the sugar leaves, those always show amber first and it’s a false indicator.
I just got one too, so much easier. One tip, order a cheap microphone stand off Amazon for $22. It’s damn near impossible to hold it steady enough to get a clear picture.
Got iPhone microscope today and took these pics. Definitely need a tripod but they’re a couple of clear Tricoms
They are crappy photos. Have to come up with a tripod and try again
Steady, not ready.
Just got mine and you are definitely right about a tripod
Congrats, welcome to the gazing life.
I Couldn’t qualify or certify for Micro-mini-component repair.
Hands shake (not in coordinated timing) caffeine, or eyes, and that was 20 years ago.
Most fun ever looking thru microscope or more fun than timber cruising stereo scopes
