That’s terrible. Hope it pans out for the best.

At least I had gotten all of the bugs out of both messenger versions before this happened.

It’s going to be a bit until I can take the time to add them to the Hortus apps.

It’s waaaay toooo wet down there right now.

This sucks.

Including in my grow area…soaked!

Ah bugger eh, it sux when the wet does not stay out side, been working on that here for 2 yrs now, less and less water every yr.

Today isn’t getting better…received the new to me test iPhone SE 2nd edition from eBay.

Locked to owner, haven’t heard back from seller yet.

Don’t have a lot of patience today.

Time to just order food and spend time with the wife.

Walk away!

Sucks… take a break from it all if you can. Do something for you and the wife. Even for just an hour.

Got the new test phone issue sorted out and it’s working now.

@Krista
I have installed Hortus iOS on my new test device iPhone SE 2nd edition.

When setting up it asked me to choose regular or zoomed, i chose regular. I also updated right away without thinking about trying hortus first to iOS 26.4.

Everything is looking good:

Sending from new test phone.

Would you plz check your phone is updated, check settings->brightness & display->display zoom = default.

And ensure it’s up to date to iOS 26.4?

Please?

I cannot duplicate the issues.

@Growmoredank

I just updated my phone to 26.4

Is there some way to update the app? Or is version 1.1 for the Hortus correct? I have it set up for automatic updates.

Currently looks like this for me:

The VPD one looks a little better but the DLI is still jacked up for me… and the “Area 1, 2, etc” shows a gray circle around them that isn’t showing for you?

Either way, my app does not look like yours for whatever reason.
No plot in DLI, no M+ in VPD. Which makes me assume I’m not on the correct test version?

The plot and m+ buttons pop-up once a calculation has been made.

Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling… remember to backup if you have been using it for charting.

I haven’t released an update…was waiting for the test phone. Same version.

Good morning Krysta!

Found the issues!

Also make sure all other toggles on this page are disabled.

I hope you have a fantastic day!

Growmoredank

This should take care of it.

@IsItSticky

Saw you were in marketing…any tips on using Google ads you would please provide?

Got this app out in Android & iOS…need to get sales.

@Growmoredank is it posted to the App Store? I think that’s going to be your biggest hurdle if it’s weed related. Same with running any ads

It’s a horticultural landscaping app. That terminology fits and is easier to push through.

Yes…on iOS and Android.

I don’t advertise it as weed related, but all was brought together from ideas and topics on here.

I tell my neighbors it’s for helping people without greenthumbs.

Had a Google ad campaign for a bit, but following their suggestions just lowered viewings.

I know somebody who was having issues with cacti sales. They closed him down on PayPàl, etc. for durgs. He explained in appeals that he was selling landscaping plants, and that terminology got him open for sales again

Landscaping = safe terminology.

The only reference to cannabis in my app is in the DLI plant search… it’s in there amongst all other plants.

Edit:

Anywhere else I substituted the word “flower”

So you can run ads, but you need a bit of a user base to build up those trust signals before ads will do anything. If the app is free, meta is a strong platform for awareness campaigns like that paired with a little 10 second video showing it off.

So it was literally just a setting in my phone?… well that’s crazy! I know for a fact I never went in and turned that on but yep, it was on. I guess these things can hopefully be helpful in a “Help/Support” section?? :grimacing::grimacing:
It’s kinda sad that random little settings like that can mess with an apps appearance so bad.
I’m sorry to make you have to figure that out for me but man I really do appreciate that the app looks normal to me now!
:heart_hands::two_hearts::hugs:
Thank you so much for all your hard work!
