Hop along to Hopalong's indoor growings

Hey brother yes you can feed n and give it a try, I have some plants that are more susceptible to ph swings and start yellowing before I would like, like Lemon berry during this grow this grow, she made it through tho :yum: nothing but sugar leaf on the canopy, all fans died early, I don’t defoliate lower bush like most people and I did have leaf there throughout the grow, but lost a lot. Hope you are having a great Sunday my friend  :v:

@Dennis62 thanks irmano, hope yours was great aswell! Yesterday the plants got a compost tea with banana leaves, and this specific one got a squirt of bioGrow too.

Maybe the Purple Punches will get the chop before I’m off to Spannabis 2025 in Barcelona. We will see. I’ll be away for a week, have to give my Missus the responsibility of watering them… It’s water only so it should be straightforward enough.

I saw some amber on it so I moved the dark Purple Punch to darkness and the other plants back to the 3x3. I felt weird blasting the 480watts to these 3 little plants. I will give them less light intensity for the time they have left.

I really hope the GZ’s will still fatten and harden up… do the buds ripen up ok when the plants have virtually no green leaves left? @Budbrother @Dan @Dennis62 @Storm @Truetopath

This is the Mutant.

She has fantastic firm and frosty buds, and the trim will be a breeze!

Looking nice. Fall colors. You should be close. Some swazz the plants. Pull all the fans. Not my style but works for others. All browned out fans will mean about ready. Yours are showing color not browning.

Plants bread for color have genetics that allow absorption of light spectrum evenly and without loss of sugar production.

Ok, I thought I will concentrate on the outdoor season after these, but…

What if I put some fast strains for one more round, I can grow the seedlings for outdoor in the 3x3?

The plan is to germinate after the Spannabis trip on the 20ish of March so the plants should be ready before end of May.

Since I have some grasp on the size of the plants, I think I can fit maybe 7 plants in the 4x4…

The humidifier will be outside the tent.

I reused the old soil, added some compost and worm castings plus some more perlite.

Now I need some insight, is it ok with the old soil with tgese addons, or should I put something more into the mix? The grow will be mostly organic with the TopTabs and compost teas.

I will look for dry amendments from Spannabis for my future grows, I think that will be the way for me. Sadly most of the stuff you guys are using is not available in my country.

I tagged you guys here since you have been helping me out along my grows and I value you input tremendeously!

Hey brother @Hopalong I apologize for not responding sooner, Hey man I use a fertilizer company that is in the Netherlands I guess, but I’m pretty sure it shipped from Spain, I could be wrong lol, its a two part organic upgrade for inert medium, its made to add to medium before planting, but I can’t do with my miracle grow potting mix because it has time released nutes already  but after plants get past seedling stage I add organic upgrade to the water in dosages during veg

And a flowering period that I apply after first pistols, its a top dressing on top of soil then watered in. Judging when to feed by water run off ppm numbers.

Its they are from Flower power fertilizers but I buy from their website which is www.everano. instead of .com it is .eu It is under Biological line fertilizers, I have been using them for 8 years and works well for me. Might be good for adding to used soil as its pretty much inert material  I don’t know if this helps my friend, holler at ya later man

@Dennis62 by the way, I have been going through your grows(not all of them yet), do you have a “recipe” for amending your soils and for the things you do somewhere in your journals? You seem to have everything dialed in and I really would love to copycat as much as possible…!

So these Flowerpower amendments are your main topdresses, what else do you use? Silica and calmag?

Hey brother must be morning where you are, its almost midnight here and I am heading to bed but yes my miracle grow potting mix has all it really needs NP&K wise I add organic upgrade because it gives other nutrients npk doesn’t cover and in flower the flowering period is all I use for flowering nutes. I do use a pk booster by flower power but it seems they have dropped it from their line of nutes. But flowering period nutes fit the bill I’m sure. I have started using silicon additive for tricome development and yes cal mag periodically during the veg and mid flowering. That is what I do, but everything is built around miracle grow potting mix and its time released nutes, otherwise I treat it kinda like a hydro methods and my watering routine. Hope you are having a great day over yonder my friend and I will check in with you in my morning :innocent: @Hopalong

Thank you for this! I’m mainly thinking to convert into topdresses for my outdoor grow because I have 50-60 plants growing in the summer and mixing nutrients is a pain in the butt.

I have about 40 spots ready with the same soil mix going for a third year now. Before winter I poured a hefty 5 inch layer of compost on them and covered with leaves. Now when the snow melts maybe next month or so I will start preparing for the run, maybe try some cover crops/companion planting.

I will also make soil mix for 20-25 five gallon faric pots, but I use peat moss, compost and wormcastings instead of ready soil mixes. I will try to make fish fertilizer this summer too. So I’m thinking that maybe I’ll get a few kilos of this Bloom powder and maybe that’s it? I have calmag, silica and some other stuff to use too.

Oh and these will all be autoflowers as the summer here is short and sweet.

Anyway, sleep tight and thanks a bunch!!

Wow :ok_hand: all I can say, 50 to 60 plants lol  sounds like a good plan my friend. I hope you are having a great day :+1: I am off to a good start here  holler at ya later and welcome :folded_hands: brother @Hopalong

Yes, but keep in mind they are not monsters like we see people growing here on the forum, but smallish autoflowers. Last summer I had around 40 and those beds are ready for the next run plus I will experiment with 5 gallon fabric pots this time.

Here are some fotos from last summer

Hey brother quite the farm you get growing  some beautiful purple buds and massive monster colas!!! Very beautiful my friend, hope this year is a great success. Hey man something to consider maybe are early version photos, they use Ruderalis genes but not autoflower they isolated the flowering part. In my experience they put out pistols quicker than most photos, and they are supposed to mature, from throwing pistols to harvest in only 45 days. I grow some in my closet and they always are the first to harvest. Anyway thought I’d give you something to investigate :magnifying_glass_tilted_right:  I am doing fine here today and I hope you are doing well my friend, thanks for sharing your farm, and I will holler at ya late tonight or tomorrow my friend
