Hop along to Hopalong's indoor growings

Last living moments of the Lemon Cherry cookies. Buds were on the heavier side, we will see in a couple of weeks how much the yield was.

Damn fine buds :+1:

Just finished the trim on the Banana Purple Punch and got the dry weight.

Standings with pictures so far:

Apricot 55g:

Tropicana Cookies 75g:

And Banana Purple Punch 85g:

The biggest one is the Lemon Cherry Cookies which is still hanging, I expect it yielding close to the 100g mark…

Overall I’m very happy with those yields considering the plants were not more than a foot high. Also all the bud is top quality with no larf. Trimming was a breeze so I didn’t bother to try the new bowl trimmer, leave that for the summer.

Back to the tent, flowering is well on it’s way.
Gorilla Zkittleses on the right, Purple Punches on the left:

The GZs are bulking up nicely, there is alot of budsites!

The other GZ just wants to be droopy all the time, @Budbrother please do you have any tricks in your sleeve? I changed the watering to 4liters/plant and have now watered every 4 days when the pots feel light…

The droopy one:

Also the other Purple Punch has gotten mad at me and turned black, just like the Apricot in the previous grow… I have given them epsom salt once or twice and some calmag too. Also put some dolomite lime topdressed.

The PPs are already now getting frosty:

Is it drinking the same as other? May be wind back on the demand, so could be needing 500 ml less by now. Also, sometimes a plant never fully prays again after it stays droopy for too long. As long as the health is there, it’s acceptable to me.

Don’t overdo the inputs by doubling down. Calmag, Epson and TD of dolomite lime. Dolomite has Ca & high Mg so usually less need for Epson. Purple Punch is a purple strain so it nice to see the shift happening.

@Budbrother Ok thanks! It does look healthy otherwise and the colas are stacking up nicely.

So I’ll water somewhere between 3,5-4liters from now on.

Thank you for calming me down!

By the way, now that I have a couple grows already in this 4x4, I think I can brave 6-7 plants on the next run. My style doesn’t seem to make the plants very big and I kind of would like to see the tent full…

And the GZ’s. Not much tric production. I hope they’ll show up later…

I dont know if I shoud train these more to open open them up even more for light penetration whaddo you think? @DanB @Bentstick

I would avoid stress such as opening them up anymore you run the risk of breaking branches, and either forcing an early harvest on some branches or stunt them and pull valuable energy from bud production. Just my thoughts. They do look good IMHO

They look good, trichs will come, I normally don’t mess with them much at this stage, maybe trim out some foliage. But looks like you have air flow through them.

@Bentstick @DanB

Thanks guys for you fast replies! I already adjusted the ties and did some defol, before reading your comments… let them run freely awhile again and enjoy the light.

What come comes, it’s all experience and practise. This round I did decide to be a bit rougher on them with defoliation and LST and at least the GZ’s seem to grow just fine

Just some update in a foto form… not much news or shocking turns, just chugging on.

Just finished a couple hours of butchering a cow’s front leg for the first time! Will continue tomorrow and then move on to the rear leg. Got a lucky break, a farmer friend let me go to town on a cow he shot…!

Well my friend once yellowing starts this late in the grow adding N is not going to green again. Your buds look good for the rest of the grow, just remove completely spent leafs, and keep them going :+1: got some real beautiful fat colas nice work my friend

@Dennis62 Thanks m8, I did remove all the yellow leaves that came off without effort. Now I know I can’t revive the dead leaves but my thinking was to keep the still green ones green a bit longer so she’d have some leaves still left to do the fotosynthesis.

The wilting was so fast compared to the other GZ so I thought maybe there is something more than just a normal fading…
